I love that this place offers walk ins at a very reasonable price!! It’s so much cheaper than going to urgent care or an ER. I brought my 11 week old puppy in for a weird swollen cyst on his groin, and I was a walk in. My vet couldn’t get me in for a week. I told them I was nervous about dropping him off because he’s an unvaccinated puppy, so they let me sit with him until he was ready for exam. They gave him antibiotics just to be cautious (which is great- a lot of vets would have just said it’s nothing major and sent us home). He’s already looking better. This is a GREAT option if you’re strapped for time and need to see a vet same day!!

One particularly positive review emphasizes the convenience and affordability of B Street Veterinary Hospital's walk-in policy. The reviewer states, "I love that this place offers walk ins at a very reasonable price!! It’s so much cheaper than going to urgent care or an ER." This accessibility is a significant benefit for pet owners who need immediate veterinary attention but want to avoid the often higher costs associated with emergency or urgent care facilities. The reviewer brought their "11 week old puppy in for a weird swollen cyst on his groin" as a walk-in patient, highlighting the clinic's willingness to accommodate same-day needs without a prior appointment. This is especially valuable when a pet's condition causes immediate concern and a regular veterinarian's schedule is fully booked, as was the case for this reviewer whose own vet couldn't see them for a week. The clinic also demonstrated a thoughtful approach to the puppy's vulnerable state, as the reviewer, being nervous about leaving an unvaccinated puppy, was allowed to "sit with him until he was ready for exam." This shows consideration for both the pet's well-being and the owner's peace of mind. Furthermore, the veterinarian's cautious approach to treatment, providing "antibiotics just to be cautious (which is great- a lot of vets would have just said it’s nothing major and sent us home)," indicates a proactive and thorough approach to pet health. The reviewer was pleased with the outcome, noting, "He’s already looking better," and concludes by recommending the clinic as "a GREAT option if you’re strapped for time and need to see a vet same day!!"
Another deeply touching review highlights the compassionate side of B Street Veterinary Hospital. The reviewer shares a personal experience of loss, stating, "I received a letter in the mail today that warmed me and my family's heart that came from B street veterinary hospital. My Lab that was one day away from reaching 15 years old, passed away in my arms naturally. My best friend that I knew from the day he was born, my Buddy." This intimate and heartfelt account of losing a beloved pet is followed by praise for the hospital's empathy. The reviewer notes, "B Street veterinary is a corporation full of employees that truly cares about your pet and their owners. I am grateful that they found it in their heart to take the time to do this for us. Thank you and God bless." The act of sending a sympathy letter to a grieving pet owner demonstrates a level of care and compassion that goes beyond standard veterinary practice. It suggests a team that understands the deep bond between pets and their families and is willing to offer support during difficult times. This review underscores the human element of B Street Veterinary Hospital and their commitment to the emotional well-being of their clients.

Oct 26, 2024 · Bree WinnThey really do love every animal pet and they care about your emotional experience from your concern about the condition of your beloved dear pet. They bump your pet if an emergency comes in the door to try to save that Pet's life. So your wait is dependant on the condition of your pets severity needs. But you don't wait too long. They are so excellent. Great doctor. They are worth every cent. 💯%
Mar 09, 2025 · Lisa PiattMet family there to put an elderly dog down. The lobby was full when we arrived for our appointment, but staff got us into a room quickly. The staff and Veterinarian didn't rush us and made sure that we understood the process. Kudos to the Veterinarian for using Propofol to sedate the dog before giving the drug to stop his heart. Very peaceful.
Feb 20, 2025 · Thomas CMy first visit was with my minpin Marley. It was an emergency and they took him back immediately and called me to update throughout the day. Unfortunately I had to return two weeks later for another emergency and even though they were getting ready to close they whisked him back right away. I was given bad news of his heart failure and was given all my options. Deciding to give him a humane end the staff said they'd stay as long as I needed to say goodbye and were the kindest and most incredible people. They stayed with us into the night, never acting upset or rushing me. When my newer Whoodle pup had a massive seizure I immediately brought her here. No wait, they knew I was homeless and had nothing but Troys care on their mind! They got me to an organization that paid for everything (thank you Pets of the Homeless) and did it with a five minute phone call. Was updated continuously and by the end of the day I got my happy-but tired-baby home. B St. Vets and staff are caring and compassionate. Knowing my situation never stopped them from giving my fur babies fast, immediate help and they did all the needed services and tests. I never felt like I was looked down upon or a lesser person. Something that many places do. I was an award winning teacher until an accident during COVID changed my life and I can honestly say this is the one place that gave me and mine the most compassionate care and treatment and took absolute amazing care of everyone!
