Our pup got so sick and we couldn't get a good diagnosis until we got into AVUE and saw Dr. Berdoulay. He confirmed a preliminary cancer diagnosis and explained several times what our options were. Treatment wasn't going to be an option so we made the choice to send our boy over the bridge so that he wasn't suffering any longer. Dr. Bordoulay continued to contact us after we made the decision as the biopsy's were confirmed by lab results. He contacted our normal vet with the results and news that we said goodbye. I wish we never had to meet but his compassion and caring were what we needed. The staff is fantastic too!

Not only is AVUE affordable for chemotherapy, but the staff is empathetic to your situation and everything is explained in great detail to support the decisions that you make through the process. Weve been treating our pup for a year now and have thoroughly enjoyed bringing our pup here to AVUE.

I love this practice. My story did not have a happy ending but this practice made the process as painless as could be. I was able to spend as much time as I wanted with my dog before we put her to sleep. Nichole was a god send. She made everything perfect. We had blankets and cozy items. When our poor dog first got sick, they fit her in first thing the next day. I can't thank them enough for their compassion and caring.

I understand, I should have cancelled sooner. I had strange circumstances and apologized. Regardless, this isn’t about me…it’s about helping pets. Our dog has seen a specialist already, and other vets for this same issue, so we are trying to use the least invasive/expensive route, hence the late conversation with my husband, leading to a last minute cancellation. My dogs condition has improved and is no longer needing a specialist, at this time, until we move forward with more simple tests now that her emergent symptoms were addressed by the first specialist. I am an understanding person and I agree it is my fault, but to just say “we will not help Sable EVER because of you not cancelling 48 hrs ahead of time(this is the only time I’ve done this) seems kind of personal and aggressive. As a specialist you should pride yourself in wanting to solve medical problems for animals while being understanding of unforeseen circumstances, especially in a military town. I’m not a rude women, but my dog is, and she as a re tired canine gives you guys a thumbs down for empathy and understanding. Any who, they might be great vets, I’m not sure, I’ll never have the chance to properly review them now.

Dr. Berdoulay was very thorough and took time to answer all questions I had. I was very impressed that I did not have to explain anything to him what has been going on with my dog or why we were there etc. When he came in to the exam room Dr. Berdoulay had already reviewed my dog’s records/referral and everything started off smoothly. He is one of very few doctors who does his part as a doctor and I believe that establishes trust, gain respect from pet owners and build relationship with us. The receptionist was very nice and the building was very clean. I highly recommend this place.
