Aurora Urgent Veterinary Clinic

When 1 of my dogs had some pretty scary things going on & I couldn’t get into our clinic I hesitantly brought her to Aurora. I am so very glad I did! From the moment I walked in until the time I left I felt very comfortable & supported & everyone cared so much. Riley especially made me (& my dog Comet) very comfortable! Dr. Liz throughly explained everything & we left very happy! Comet is on the mend & we would recommend this clinic to EVERYONE!

Absolutely wonderful clinic! I was unable to get an immediate appointment for my cat at my regular vet but they recommended Aurora. Aurora was able to get my cat in right away for tests for a UTI which can be serious for male cats. Very kind and caring staff! Highly recommend!

It is clean and cozy. First off arrived 15 minetses early and was judged. Went to a room because my appointment was at 330. Ended up sitting in the room for a whole hour. The nurses were very kind. Came in to give my dog a treat for waiting. Little did I know we are going to be in here for an hour... My dog gets chronic utis. 3 or more a year!! I knew exactly what she had. But they still charge you for a test.... I was given and estimated payment of about 239-289. I was really okay with that price. Yes it's a lot but considering this is an urgent care I figured it's decent. The kicker is my total was 400$+ . Just upsetting. I shouldn't have to pay 90$ to check something I already know my dog has. I should be able to get her a test and an antibiotic for no more than 200 dollars the medication was extremely pricey. My regular vet has no upcoming appointments and the other option is closed Friday -monday . My only option was emergency or urgent cares. Many vets in the twin cities are not accepting new clients. So what can you do? Your options are very slim and you're forced to go to an overpriced vet because most clinics are on overload, booked out for many weeks to months ! I couldn't wait a week or two and definitely not a whole month! It's sad it has to be this way because it's just upsetting to have to go through this about 3 times a year it's the same frustrating ordeal. It's not right and I hope something changes with vet care prices.

I definitely recommend this place if any one needs urgent care for their fur babies, they made room for us, the staff were very nice and let me handle my dog when she was being a bit skittish around them, they were patient and understanding. My baby got the care she needed. Overall an amazing experience! 😊

Great place. Friendly and professional staff. Dr. Liz is the best. My cat gave birth to one kitten. I feared more were "stuck." There was only one and they made me feel so much more at ease.
