Aurora Animal Hospital

This place was a huge blessing for my family. Our dog passed away unexpectedly and they helped us handle the whole thing with so much empathy and care. They were like our guide through the storm. They even checked on us days after to the extent of writing a hand written card to my family weeks later to just wish us well. I cannot say enough nice things. I’d use them for every pet I ever have. These are the people who live for loving animals and it shows.

We really appreciate the experience we’ve had this morning at Aurora animal hospital. They were able to get us in fast, they were very kind and knowledgeable about cats. Our cats had a small infection above her eye and we wanted to get it taken care of before the weekend hit. I had called two places before and seemingly was not having luck with the receptionist, one couldn’t even provide directions to there clinic. They were the third place, and man they fixed all my frustrations up and most importantly cared very well for our sweet girl. I’m so thankful we have now found our new vet.

Our animals have been going to this vet for years. Long enough that the current animals are not the one we started going here with. They are 2 miles from my house and one afternoon my wife calls me over in a panic because the dog is unable to move. I grab the dog and head up to his vet which is the closest animal thing near my house. When I get there the parking lot is empty.. I grab the dog and go inside. He is acting a lot better now and can walk into the vet. I tell the front desk what is going on they have me wait and go back to talk to someone. She come back out and tells me to keep an eye on the dog and if needed take him to a animal er because THEY ARE ALL BOOKED UP TODAY. She never even looked at my dog Nobody from the back came out and looked at my dog. Not a look into his eyes maybe listen to his heart NOTHING!!!!! Their patient because again this is his vet!!!! If you go here find someplace else these people do not care about the animal you are taking to them, all they care about is the money. I will never go back.. Thanks Aurora Animal Hospital for not caring.. This is should be negative stars but it has to have at least one to post...

Great first experience! They have late hours, which is great. The staff were very good with our pup, and very friendly with us too.

We will not go anywhere else, this is absolutely the most caring, professional, comprehensive and trustworthy vet and hospital that any animal and their parents should use! We’ve tried others and NONE can compare. Their communication with us is outstanding and we always feel heard. We are on our second animal to go there. We have to drive quite a distance to get to AAH but it is SO worth it to us. Their charges for testing and visits are very fair and less than most!

We’ve seen multiple veterinarians here since we first started bringing our dog, and every one of them has been fantastic. They take the time to get down to her level, move at her pace, and ensure she feels happy and comfortable throughout the visit. We always bring high-value treats to maintain a positive association with vet visits, and I love that the staff consistently ask to take them along when she goes back for vaccinations and blood draws. Their attention to her comfort and well-being truly sets them apart!

We have come to really trust, and look forward to bringing all of our pets into Aurora Animal Hospital. The staff is always so pleasant and knowledgeable as well professional. I love the fact that they view our pets as a part of our family, and they always reassure us by providing detailed information and services to help our pets have a great quality of life. It's such a relief to walk in and not feel stressed and overwhelmed. We're so thankful to have found such a good fit in our area.
