The staff is awesome and they took great care of our boys we just adopted from the shelter. They took the time to listen to all our concerns and answer any questions we had and even took the time to listen to their story. I was very pleased with our first visit there and how they followed up to make sure our boys were okay after their visit, the following day. I took a lot of time to find the right vet with lots of research and I'm confident I chose the right one for us. Everyone was great from intake to the nurse to the vet dr. McCarthy. So glad I found this office. Their friendless and care they showed our boys (cats) was beyond appreciated.

Jan 05, 2025 · Alexis Cannella-AbateI visited Audubon Family Veterinary for the first time today with 2 of our 14 fur babies, Paris, for a Cytopoint shot due to her excessive itching. I called on January 2nd at 11:26 AM to see if they could fit her in, and I spoke with Aaliyah, who was incredibly kind and accommodating. She managed to schedule us for January 3rd at 8 AM, which I really appreciated given the short notice. On the evening before our appointment, our other dog, Fatman (Paris’ son), started having severe ear irritation. He was in so much pain that we had to give him a trazodone to calm him down so we could apply Zymox ear medicine. Since the clinic was closed, I couldn’t ask if we could bring him along for treatment. I brought him with us the next morning in the hopes that they could assess and provide some relief for his ears, but unfortunately, he wasn’t seen. Despite being with us, he did not receive the attention he needed. On the day of the appointment, we called ahead at 8 AM to inform them we’d be 15 minutes late due to Paris’ car sickness. She vomited and urinated in the car, which delayed us further. We live 40 minutes away so we made sure to leave earlier but can’t prevent unforeseen circumstances. We arrived at 8:16 AM, and thankfully, Aaliyah and nurse Laura greeted us warmly. I give them both 5 stars for their warmth and kindness. Christina clipped Paris’ nails while Nurse Laura assisted. Christina was so gentle and delicate while clipping Paris although Paris was a bit anxious. She also gets 5 stars for her warmth and kindness. The service for Paris was excellent, and I would give 5 stars for that. However, what left me disappointed was the lack of attention given to Fatman by Dr. Roppolo. While I understand the importance of following protocols, I can’t understand why his ear issue wasn’t addressed. It would have taken just a moment to assess his ears and, at the very least, prescribe something to alleviate his discomfort. If it was about the examination fee PER PET, we had no issue paying it. Yet, he wasn’t examined at all, leaving him to leave the veterinary clinic the same way he came in, in pain. While the clinic’s accommodation and the staff’s kindness were top-notch, I have to rate the overall experience 2 stars because of the lack of care for Fatman. We go to vets to hope for a solution to help ease the stress of our pets. I believe that no pet should ever be turned away, and as someone who has deep empathy for animals, I would not recommend this clinic based on this experience.
Jan 03, 2025 · Rene Posh MílanI've been so happy with the care provided so far. Both the vet tech and vet spent a lot of time answering my questions and putting me and my cats at ease. I really feel that the practice values my pets' health, safety, and comfort, and I'm really grateful for that. By far the best practice I've ever brought my pets to, and I won’t be going anywhere else from here on out!
Dec 13, 2024 · Rachel JonesLove the docs and staff here! They take their time and make sure our anxious pup has time to acclimate and work with him to make his vets visit as smoothly as possible. We feel well cared for!
Dec 30, 2024 · Julia DeJosephI RECOMMEND anyone looking for a new vet to give Audubon Family Vet a visit. The doctor is WONDERFUL! My fur baby is terrified of the vet. However the cat hammock they have was her first place out of the carrier she went. The doctor even got down to her level and did the evaluation on it. Which was a huge thing! She didn’t want her to feel uncomfortable! The tech Alana was very comforting. She was gentle with Astrid. Even played with her for a few before having to accommodate another pet. They did amazing! They are not a huge corporate hospital they are privately owned and I will not be going anywhere else as long as I own animal (or they close) plus on your first visit they have a 25$ off🥰 not disappointed at all!
