The staff are emotionally invested in the well-being of all pets. When I walk in with my cat Cappuccino, they all know his name and celebrate his arrival! It's such a warm welcome, and it feels good that they know my cat by name. Cappuccino was diagnosed with diabetes. They quickly got him on a meal plan with insulin, scheduled us for routine visits to stabilize his blood sugar levels and within 2 weeks Cappuccino gained 1.2 lb (which was a good thing!), was back to his normal self (he was incredibly fatigued pre treatment) and has been doing incredibly well to date.

Auburn South Veterinary Hospital Introduce
Welcome to the introduction of Auburn South Veterinary Hospital, a dedicated pet hospital located at 4201 A St SE, Auburn, WA 98092, USA. As a vital part of the local pet care ecosystem, Auburn South Veterinary Hospital aims to provide a range of services to ensure the health and well-being of your beloved animal companions. Operating under the category of a full-service Pet Hospital, they offer both routine and specialized care to address various needs of your pets.
The environment of Auburn South Veterinary Hospital, as suggested by some customer feedback, appears to foster a sense of familiarity and personal connection. One reviewer highlighted the staff's emotional investment in the pets they care for, mentioning that their cat, Cappuccino, is greeted by name upon arrival. This personal touch can contribute to a more comfortable and welcoming experience for both pets and their owners, potentially reducing anxiety often associated with veterinary visits. The celebration of a pet's arrival indicates a team that is not only professional but also genuinely cares about the animals they treat.
Auburn South Veterinary Hospital offers a variety of services to cater to the diverse health needs of pets. Based on the positive review provided, their services include diagnostic capabilities and treatment plans for chronic conditions such as diabetes. In the case of Cappuccino, the hospital was able to quickly establish a meal plan and insulin regimen, along with scheduling routine visits to monitor and stabilize blood sugar levels. The positive outcome, including weight gain and a return to normal activity levels, suggests a proactive and effective approach to managing complex medical conditions. This indicates that the hospital is equipped to handle ongoing care and provide the necessary support for pets with specific health challenges.
However, it is crucial to present a balanced perspective by also considering negative feedback. One customer reported a negative experience regarding vaccinations, alleging a lack of communication about potential adverse reactions from administering multiple vaccines simultaneously. This review also mentioned a feeling of being rushed during the appointment and subsequent negative health effects in their cat, including vomiting, loss of appetite, and difficulty breathing. Furthermore, the reviewer noted a lack of communication among staff members. This feedback raises concerns about the thoroughness of pre-vaccination consultations, the potential for rushing appointments, and the importance of clear and effective communication between the veterinary team and pet owners. It also underscores the need for seamless information sharing within the hospital staff to ensure consistent and high-quality care.
Considering both positive and negative feedback, it's important for local users to weigh these experiences when making decisions about their pet's care. The positive review highlights a caring and attentive staff, particularly in managing chronic conditions, while the negative review points to potential issues with communication, the administration of multiple vaccines, and post-appointment care. As a Pet Hospital, Auburn South Veterinary Hospital should strive to ensure that all pet owners receive comprehensive information, feel heard and valued, and that their pets receive the highest standard of care in a safe and well-communicated manner.
Features of Auburn South Veterinary Hospital likely include standard veterinary services such as vaccinations, general check-ups, diagnostic procedures, and potentially surgical interventions, given its classification as a Pet Hospital. The case of Cappuccino suggests the availability of in-house diagnostic capabilities for conditions like diabetes and the ability to formulate and manage treatment plans. For potential local users, it would be beneficial to inquire directly about the full range of services offered, including preventative care, dental care, emergency services (if available), and any specialized treatments.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the given text. However, based on the positive feedback, a key feature that could be highlighted is their personalized approach to pet care, where staff members know pets by name and show genuine concern for their well-being. This personal touch can be a significant draw for pet owners seeking a more intimate and caring veterinary experience. Additionally, their demonstrated ability to effectively manage chronic conditions like diabetes could be promoted to pet owners facing similar health challenges with their animals.
Conversely, the negative feedback serves as a cautionary note. To address these concerns and potentially attract more local users, Auburn South Veterinary Hospital could focus on improving communication protocols, ensuring thorough pre-vaccination counseling, allowing sufficient time for appointments, and enhancing internal staff communication. Transparency and a commitment to addressing past issues can help rebuild trust and demonstrate a dedication to providing excellent care.
For local users in Auburn, Washington, considering Auburn South Veterinary Hospital for their pet care needs, it is recommended to further investigate their services and potentially schedule an initial consultation to assess if the hospital meets their specific requirements and expectations. Reading additional reviews from various sources online might also provide a broader understanding of the overall customer experience. Direct communication with the hospital regarding their protocols, especially concerning vaccinations and post-care instructions, is advisable. Ultimately, choosing a pet hospital is a crucial decision, and it should be based on a comprehensive evaluation of the hospital's environment, services, features, and reputation within the local community.
In conclusion, Auburn South Veterinary Hospital, as a Pet Hospital in Auburn, WA, presents a mixed picture based on the provided customer feedback. While some pet owners have experienced compassionate and effective care, particularly in managing chronic illnesses, others have raised concerns about communication and certain procedures. Local users are encouraged to consider these points and conduct their own due diligence to determine if Auburn South Veterinary Hospital is the right choice for their pet's health needs. Contacting them directly at (253) 804-8000 or +1 253-804-8000 for more information or to schedule a visit would be a prudent next step.

Apr 03, 2025 · Angela SilvaI would not recommend going here. I brought my cat in for vaccinations and they neglected to inform us that multiple vaccines at the same time are more likely to cause adverse reactions. We paid $142 for our last visit, they rushed us out almost immediately after giving him the shots. Now he's been vomiting, won't eat, and is having trouble breathing. Not to mention the total lack of communication between staff members. If you care about your pets, I suggest you take them somewhere else.
May 01, 2025 · Holly TimbermanMy Dog, Jazmyn, loved the staff there. Whenever we had an appointment and pulled into the parking lot she got so excited to go in and see people in there. First time I ever saw a dog do that. They were the best with her treated me very well too I will absolutely return with my next dog. Thank you for being so good to her.
Dec 20, 2024 · Christina OlsenI am a huge fan of this clinic. I've been a customer for more than 15 years and have never had a problem. Everyone I've dealt with has been really nice and has a great sense of humor. There were times when they went beyond their duties and happily helped me. A few days ago, I had to put my 17 year old dog (and loving friend) to rest. I had him since he fit in the palm of my hand. I remember fixing him a tiny little nest with part of my comforter next to my chest where he slept every night and so many more memories we shared as we've got older. Having to do this broke me inside and is again as I write this. The people here gave me all the time I needed with my little buddy, walked me through it, and showed genuine compassion and empathy the whole time. They are great people, every time. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Thank you all.
Jul 30, 2024 · Daniel McKoonPaid a bunch of money to find out this vet is incompetent. Multiple tests and they just don't know, but please just keep charging us money. I found answers on my own and found a competent vet that knows what they're doing.
