Ashton Animal Clinic & The Pet Resort

When we first moved to Sarasota I needed a new vet to bring my nervous rescue Daisy for her shots and annual visit. Everyone was so friendly and she was quickly submissive and trusting of everyone. I have since used them as her primary and they have been wonderful! I genuinely can see that the staff cares for all the dogs as their own. I got a new puppy named Korra recently, and Ashton Animal Clinic has been so accommodating with getting all her puppy shots done. I trust Dr. Laurie and Dr. Kole with addressing my every concern and providing the utmost care all around, always educating me and suggesting things that I might leave out. Take your dog here and they will be a happy pup walking in and walking out!

Ashton Animal clinic has taken fantastic care of our precious girl labrador dogs. Every time we are in the Clinic the staff Is always so nice and very helpful with any questions I have ! I highly recommend this vet for your next animal veterinary!

The Dr is absolutely the best. We brought our beloved Bridget a 10 lb Yorkie in as an emergency from the neighbors pit bull and another mongrel dog that pulled our dog under 2 fences and were playing tug of war with her. She had a collapsed lung, torn throat and multiple bite wounds. The Dr did emergency surgery and thankfully saved her life. She saw our Bridget quite a bit for a few weeks and today she is fine. Dr. Laurie has been all my dogs vet for 10+ years. She's been wonderful! I've always been able to rely on her and value her opinions. If she doesn't know what the problem is she will make sure your pet will get to someone that will know. She's became a good friend as well and always asking me how I'm doing to. I've never had a vet like her. I will always recommend her and go to her as long as I'm able to have my dogs or until she retires. Boarded my senior dog (16yo) here for the weekend and so happy I found this place. They contacted me while he was there with some concerns, did some bloodwork and put him on some medications and a new food. When I picked him up he was a completely new dog! He is now moving around better and not having accidents in the house. I have decided to switch vets because I found them to be very thorough and he really likes this place. He’s not shaking and I don’t have to pick him up or drag him in, he’s comfortable here. Everyone there took very great care of him, I thank you and Red thanks you!
