Dr. Patel and his staff really take care of your pet. Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and thorough with his exams. For example, he's found a tiny lump on our pet that turned out to not be good, but because we found it so early, we were able to address before it got worse. Dr. Patel is also very mindful of costs. If he is referring you to a specialist who will want to do diagnostics, he won't do them, too, to duplicate costs. I've been very happy with his referrals, too. The staff is friendly and supportive. I don't know what I'd do without Arrow Animal Hospital!

Welcome to Arrow Animal Hospital
Welcome to the local introduction of Arrow Animal Hospital, a "Pet Hospital" located at 334 W Arrow Hwy, San Dimas, CA 91773, USA. For pet owners in Singapore seeking information about veterinary care facilities, this overview aims to provide a balanced perspective on what Arrow Animal Hospital offers, based on real customer reviews available online. Understanding the experiences of other pet owners can be helpful when evaluating potential healthcare providers for your beloved animals, whether locally or when considering standards of care.
Arrow Animal Hospital, operating as a "Pet Hospital," can be reached at (909) 592-1931 or +1 909-592-1931. The customer feedback regarding this clinic presents a dichotomy, with some praising the care and others expressing significant disappointment. This highlights the importance of considering a range of experiences when evaluating a pet hospital.
Based on the positive feedback, the environment at Arrow Animal Hospital is perceived as caring and supportive. One reviewer mentioned that "Dr. Patel and his staff really take care of your pet," and described the staff as "friendly and supportive." This suggests a welcoming atmosphere where pet owners feel their animals are in good hands. Dr. Patel is described as "very knowledgeable and thorough with his exams," indicating a commitment to a detailed assessment of the pet's health.
The services offered at Arrow Animal Hospital appear to include:
General Examinations: Dr. Patel is noted for his thoroughness during exams, which has led to the early detection of health issues in some cases.
Diagnostic Procedures: The mention of pushing "unnecessary X-rays" by one reviewer suggests that the hospital does offer imaging services, although the appropriateness of their use is a point of contention in the feedback.
Vaccinations: Similarly, vaccinations are part of their service offerings, but again, one customer felt they were pushed unnecessarily.
Referrals to Specialists: Dr. Patel is commended for being "mindful of costs" by not duplicating diagnostics when referring to specialists and for making helpful referrals.
The features of Arrow Animal Hospital, as perceived by different customers, include:
Knowledgeable Veterinarian: Dr. Patel is described as "very knowledgeable," which instilled confidence in at least one pet owner.
Thorough Examinations: The detailed nature of the examinations is seen as a positive aspect, contributing to early diagnosis.
Cost-Consciousness (in some cases): Dr. Patel's consideration of costs when making referrals is appreciated by one reviewer.
However, other features were viewed negatively:
Perceived Prioritization of Billing Over Patient Well-being: One dissatisfied customer felt the hospital's priority was "billing us for as much as possible" rather than genuinely understanding and addressing their dog's symptoms.
Lack of Thorough Investigation of Symptoms: The same reviewer felt that the hospital did not adequately listen or investigate potential food allergies, instead opting for what they perceived as a "one-size-fits-all approach."
Promotional information is not explicitly mentioned in the provided text. Pet hospitals often have introductory offers for new clients, or they might promote seasonal health packages (e.g., for flea and tick prevention) or vaccination bundles. To know if Arrow Animal Hospital has any such promotions, one would typically need to check their website or contact them directly. When looking for a "Pet Hospital" locally in Singapore, it's always a good idea to inquire about any available promotions for new patients or specific services.
The contrasting reviews of Arrow Animal Hospital highlight the subjective nature of experiences with veterinary care. While one pet owner felt well-cared for and appreciated the thoroughness and cost-consciousness, another felt their concerns were ignored, leading to a delayed diagnosis and the perception of unnecessary procedures. This underscores the importance of clear communication between pet owners and veterinary staff, as well as the need for a holistic approach to diagnosis that considers the owner's observations.
For pet owners in Singapore, when choosing a "Pet Hospital," it is advisable to look for consistent positive feedback regarding the attentiveness of the veterinarians, the thoroughness of the examinations, the clarity of communication about diagnoses and treatment plans, and the overall feeling that the clinic prioritizes the well-being of the animal. It can also be helpful to inquire about the clinic's approach to different types of health issues and how they involve pet owners in the diagnostic and treatment process.
In conclusion, Arrow Animal Hospital in San Dimas, CA, presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. While some customers have had positive experiences, appreciating the knowledgeable vet and caring staff, at least one pet owner reported significant dissatisfaction with the diagnostic approach and perceived focus on billing. This serves as a reminder for pet owners everywhere to seek out veterinary care where they feel heard, where thorough investigations are conducted, and where the pet's best interests are clearly the priority. When researching "Pet Hospitals" in Singapore, consider these aspects and look for clinics with a strong track record of both medical expertise and client satisfaction.

Dec 21, 2024 · Shelli AndreskiOne Star – Completely Disappointed If I could give zero stars, I would. This animal hospital completely failed our dog. We brought him in with clear symptoms, but instead of listening and investigating possible food allergies (which we later discovered on our own via TikTok—he's allergic to chicken), they pushed unnecessary X-rays and vaccines that had nothing to do with the issue. It was clear their priority wasn’t our dog's well-being—it was billing us for as much as possible. They showed little interest in actually understanding what was wrong and rushed us through with a one-size-fits-all approach. We ultimately resolved the issue ourselves by eliminating chicken from his diet—something that could’ve been addressed much sooner had they taken the time to listen. Extremely disappointing experience. I would not trust them with any animal's care.
