I take my three dogs here and I would highly recommend them. My dog had a crooked nail and they were able to see us the same day for treatment. We always feel very cared for.

Words cannot fully express the love and compassionate care Dr. Tonioli has shown our dogs, Indy and Ella, over the past year—and for so many other dogs in my wife's family for years before that. Whether it was answering our texts and calls about minor concerns or guiding us through our most critical moments—like the multiple times we had to rush our dogs to the ER in the past six months—he was always there. He made sure we got in for follow-ups and even took time out of his evening schedule to stop by our home. Unfortunately, February 3, 2025, became the most heartbreaking day of my life. That was the day we had to make the agonizing decision to say goodbye to our beloved Ella. She began showing signs of canine cognitive dysfunction in the fall of 2023 and later underwent emergency surgery on September 23, 2024, to remove a mass in her abdomen, which was diagnosed as splenic sarcoma. Though she recovered well—and we sometimes wondered if the cancer had been misdiagnosed—CCD gradually took away the essence of who she was. She no longer greeted me in the shower every morning, found me in the middle of the night for comfort as she lost her eyesight, or slept at my feet in bed. In the final months of her life, though her body remained with us, wandering through the house at all hours, we knew in our hearts that it was time to help her find peace. Her spirit and will to live—likely driven by primitive, deep neural pathways—were so strong that my wife and I (especially I) doubted she would ever pass peacefully in her sleep, as we had secretly hoped when her time came. Through every step of this painful journey, Dr. Tonioli was by our side. He guided us, comforted us, and ultimately helped us find peace in making the most difficult decision a pet parent must face. We will forever be grateful for his kindness, patience, and unwavering support. His compassion—giving my wife and me the time we needed with Ella, even after she had been humanely euthanized—was a gift beyond words. I write this to say: Dr. Tonioli is the model of what a veterinarian should be. Antelope Animal Hospital is where we will be taking all of our dogs indefinitely.

I am so thankful for the staff at this veterinary hospital. I feel like most veterinary places abstain from showing "too much" compassion or feeling because it's unprofessional, but personally, I prefer it. It's comforting to know that the staff genuinely care and feel for pet owners. And that is exactly what you get here. Genuine and honest! Thank you all so much for your support through caring for and losing our pets. We love you!

Antelope Animal Hospital is a great place to take your pet and do a wonderful job with checkups. Have enjoyed all the vets we have talked to and interacted with here for checkups and shots. They are booked for some surgeries for awhile and are on the expensive side for some of the surgeries like neutering. We enjoy going here and will continue as it has been the best one we have visited so far.

This establishment demonstrates a profound lack of professionalism. The staff’s disregard for the well-being of animals is evident in their actions. I witnessed them chasing a cat down the street, apprehending it, and verbally reprimanding the animal. Furthermore, the front desk employee exhibited significant attitude issues, treating customers as inconveniences and exhibiting rudeness when they attempted to make appointments. (The establishment opens at 8:00 AM, so I waited until 8:01 AM, as the doors were unlocked, and approached the desk. However, she rolled her eyes when I inquired about making an appointment. After she stood up, turned on the lights, and proceeded to then address me. I made my request, she became extremely rude to me. After I gave my number, laughing and rolling her eyes again when I said we were new and not in the system. Consequently, I left the establishment and decided to take my business elsewhere.) and no, i do not have the wrong hospital 100% it is this one, since i see that’s always how this place responds to their negative reviews. I called and left a message too:) Ownership of poor behavior is way more refreshing than gaslighting negative reviewers.
