We took our pup to this vet as a walk-in due to our being new to Greeneville. Our pup was bit by another dog. Very friendly staff took our information and was able to have the vet look at our girl quickly. Dr. Amanda was very nice and took great care of Lucy. She explained what we needed to do and what to watch for in the next few days. The cost of our visit was very reasonable-less than our hometown vet. Highly recommend bring your fur baby her if you need a good vet.

The environment at Animals West Veterinary Hospital is consistently described as welcoming and efficient. Despite being a traditional clinic setting, the staff's approach ensures a comfortable experience for pets and their owners. Clients frequently mention the "very friendly staff" who are attentive and capable of handling various situations, even accommodating walk-in emergencies, as highlighted by a review where a dog was seen quickly after a bite. This ability to integrate urgent cases seamlessly into their schedule speaks to their organizational efficiency and commitment to patient care. The atmosphere is one of professionalism blended with genuine care, making pets and their owners feel at ease during what can often be a stressful time. The positive interactions create a supportive environment, reinforcing trust in the care provided.

Animals West Veterinary Hospital offers a broad spectrum of services designed to cater to the health needs of a diverse range of animals. Their core services include comprehensive small animal medicine and surgery, addressing common ailments, injuries, and preventative care for beloved family pets like dogs and cats. This encompasses essential wellness exams, which are crucial for maintaining long-term health and detecting potential issues early. They provide necessary vaccinations to protect against various diseases and offer general medical care for sick or injured pets. For more intensive needs, a range of surgical procedures are performed, ensuring careful attention to patient safety and recovery. Clients have specifically lauded the effective treatment of minor injuries, such as puncture wounds, with appropriate antibiotic and pain management.

A significant distinguishing factor for Animals West Veterinary Hospital is their provision of large animal medicine and surgery. This makes them a versatile resource for the agricultural and rural communities in Greeneville and surrounding areas, catering to horses, cattle, and other farm animals. This dual capability ensures that the comprehensive veterinary needs of both companion animals and livestock are met, a feature not always available at every local "Pet Hospital."

One of the most praised features of Animals West Veterinary Hospital, as consistently noted in customer reviews, is their affordability and transparent pricing. Clients frequently remark on the "great prices compared to other vets in the area" and how the cost of visits is "very reasonable – less than our hometown vet." This commitment to accessible veterinary care is a major draw for many pet owners, allowing them to provide necessary treatments without undue financial burden. This pricing philosophy does not compromise the quality of care, as evidenced by the high satisfaction rates among clients.

Another prominent feature is the high level of care and knowledge exhibited by the veterinary team, particularly Dr. Amanda, who is singled out in reviews for being "very nice and took great care" of a pet, clearly explaining the necessary steps for recovery. The entire staff is described as "caring and knowledgeable," taking the time to explain health issues and treatment plans to pet owners. This dedication to clear communication empowers owners to make informed decisions about their pets' health and fosters a sense of partnership in the care process. The ability to handle unexpected situations, such as walk-ins for emergencies, further demonstrates their commitment to being a responsive and reliable resource for the community.

The long-standing presence of the practice since at least 2016, with Dr. Tony Greer and Dr. Amanda Greer joining to provide high-quality medical and surgical services, reflects a consistent and reliable commitment to the community. Their combined experience contributes to the comprehensive care offered, drawing clients from Greeneville and surrounding subdivisions like Dobson, Sunset Acres, Craddock, Windy Hills, Westgate, Meadowlark, Rockwood Hill, and Honeys Hill.

While explicit "promotional information" such as discount programs or loyalty schemes are not detailed in the provided information, the hospital’s primary promotional strength comes from its strong word-of-mouth recommendations and consistent positive feedback. The reviews themselves serve as powerful testimonials, with clients "highly recommend" the hospital and expressing immense satisfaction with the services. The consistent message of "great staff, great prices, very caring and knowledgeable" acts as a compelling draw for new clients. The inherent value proposition of affordable, high-quality, and compassionate care is its most effective marketing tool. Furthermore, the fact that clients are willing to bring all their pets to this hospital, even after moving or having other options available, speaks volumes about the trust and satisfaction they receive. The direct feedback on their excellent pricing and genuine care for animals fosters organic growth and a loyal client base, proving that exceptional service and reasonable costs are powerful incentives in themselves for local users seeking veterinary care.

I wish my doctor treated me as well as my vet took care of my puppy On Sunday, my 8 week old puppy started getting very sick…. You guessed it. Parvo….. I was so scared and felt lost…. I took it to an emergency vet clinic and when the quoted me a price on what it would take to save my puppy…. I almost broke down… I couldn’t afford it. But I had heard a rumor…. That Dr. Tony and Amanda were parvo puppy whisperers…. I had heard they were reasonable…. I had heard they were legends in the business. The next day, I loaded my puppy and drove to Greeneville (from Kingsport) with only a hope and a prayer. As I walked in…. Desperate to save a puppy who belonged to a 4 year old little girl… I saw that outlaw vet… and I asked him to save my puppy.. His response? The spirit of Doc Holiday filled the room as he looked at me square in the eyes and said “I’m your Huckleberry”…. Then, he looked at my dog, straight down into his soul, he identified the parvo and said “say when” Dr. Tony and Dr. Amanda saved my little Hound…. And made a little girl extremely happy… I’ll be driving to Greeneville, from Kingsport, to have them take care of my dog… because you can’t beat great, honest service

Dr. Amanda was great with our pittie girl, Aspen when we came in for an ear infection! She had the medicine in stock, and it was very affordable! $80 for all of the medicine and a full checkup! We are very thankful. This was our first time here, and the next time we need a vet, we will be back❤️
