As a Pet Hospital with a specialization in rehabilitation, Animalia Rehab offers a range of services designed to address various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions in animals. Our team, including dedicated individuals like Stephanie and skilled therapists like Kirsten, works under the guidance of compassionate and knowledgeable professionals such as Dr. Hubbard. We collaborate closely with referring veterinarians, such as Dr. Attwood from Apex, to provide comprehensive post-surgical care and rehabilitation programs tailored to each animal's specific needs.

One of the standout features of Animalia Rehab, highlighted in the customer reviews, is our exceptional staff. Clients consistently praise the team for being amazing, supportive, kind, patient, and knowledgeable. The heartfelt appreciation expressed towards Stephanie and Kirsten underscores their dedication and the positive impact they have on both the pets and their owners. The fact that a dog "literally jumps up and smiles" when it's time to visit for therapy speaks volumes about the welcoming and positive environment created at Animalia Rehab.

Our services are centered around physical rehabilitation, and one of the key modalities we offer is the underwater treadmill. This is specifically mentioned as being instrumental in the recovery of a senior dog who underwent TPLO surgery. The underwater treadmill allows for low-impact exercise, which is particularly beneficial for pets recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing arthritis, or needing to improve their strength and mobility without putting excessive strain on their joints. Kirsten's success in helping a nervous dog overcome her aversion to water and engage in underwater treadmill workouts demonstrates the patience and skill of our therapists.

Beyond the underwater treadmill, Animalia Rehab provides comprehensive physical therapy that includes not only targeted rehabilitation for specific injuries (like leg surgery) but also addresses overall strength and mobility, such as strengthening hips and other limbs. This holistic approach ensures that pets not only recover from their immediate issues but also improve their general physical condition, allowing them to return to their normal activities, such as hiking and long-distance walks, often sooner than expected.

The environment at Animalia Rehab is described as one where you feel like part of the family, and pets are treated as their own. This caring and supportive atmosphere is crucial for the well-being of animals undergoing therapy, especially those who may be nervous or in pain. The combination of a relaxing setting and a team that genuinely cares contributes to a more positive and effective rehabilitation process.

To summarize the services and features of Animalia Rehab: we offer specialized pet physical therapy and rehabilitation, including the use of an underwater treadmill. Our team is comprised of amazing, supportive, kind, patient, and knowledgeable individuals dedicated to providing exceptional care. We work collaboratively with referring veterinarians to ensure a comprehensive and effective recovery plan for your pets. Our environment is welcoming and makes both pets and owners feel like part of our family.

My 11 year old dog had TPLO surgery at Apex and it all went well. Dr Attwood , my dogs surgeon , recommended incorporating physical therapy sessions at Animalia for a quicker and better recovery for my senior dog. It was SO worth it. She recovered so much quicker than expected and was back to her normal hiking schedule and long distance walks all thanks to her physical therapy sessions with Kirsten. I cannot thank Kirsten enough for her patience with my dog since she is very nervous and hates water but, Kirsten with love and kindness was able to get her to do her underwater treadmill workout by her second session. Not only did Kirsten help my dog heal from her leg surgery and grow her muscle mass on that leg again but she help her strengthen her hip and other limbs as well. I cannot thank Kirsten and Dr Hubbard enough for taking care of my dog with so much love and bringing her back to health. I HIGHLY recommend Animalia Rehab.

You will not find better care for your pets than here!!! I brought my cat and dog, both elderly, in weekly for rehab - specifically laser therapy (I chose to come this often, it varies by pet). It made a world of difference in their lives. They both have advanced arthritis and mobility issues, but after starting our routine here both were playing and jumping again without pain or discomfort! Dr. Turner would regularly reevaluate them and complemented their laser with beneficial supplements (customized to each pet). Dayna is an excellent rehab technician and really knows her stuff!! She, and the other rehab techs, are truly dedicated and skilled at what they do. We moved out of the state and I cannot find a vet or rehab facility yet that compares to here. I cannot thank them enough for improving my furbabies quality of life while we lived in TN!!!

My Great Dane Winston loves going to rehab here. We moved here recently from Houston, and I was concerned about finding a new rehab center that he liked, but this place blows the one in Houston (which I liked a lot) out of the water. I even enjoy going with him! The professionals who work here are very attentive, knowledgeable and highly skilled at what they do. You can tell it is not just a job to them, as they are also very passionate about what they do. I love that the rehabilitation building is separate from the vet clinic so that the dogs can relax and be in a more stress-free environment while getting treatment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to improve their dog’s health.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice. I have a fairly large family of pets, both cats and dogs, and have trusted them for years with the loving and professional care of my furbabies. All of the veterinarians here are the best you will find Anywhere. I say that without hesitation. Dr. Malone has been taking care of my pets since before they started this practice. He and his partners have created a beautiful place where you can find the best care around for your animals. They will let you know that you and your fur baby are their first priority. They guide me on all things “healthy” where my pets are concerned. Whether it is a well visit or a sick visit, I know we are in the best of hands. The entire support staff is amazing. They show so much love to your pets and also give you, the pet parent, support when you are going through a difficult time with an illness of one of your pets. The entire practice is true professionals with heart. They are AAHA accredited, which tells me their standard of care is top notch because of the high standards required to get this accreditation. That means a lot to me. Oh!! And in their boutique, you can pick up a special treat for your fur baby after your visit. That is so much fun. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting the best care possible for their pet family.
