I recently took my dog Chiku to Dr. Sodhi, and it was such a positive experience. Dr. Sodhi was patient and thorough and making sure I understood every step of Chiku’s at home care. To my surprise, Chiku was comfortable during the visit, which is rare since she doesn’t usually do well with others! Sushma and Reena were also amazing, helping me schedule future appointments and answering all my questions. The whole team made the process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this clinic!

The environment at Animal Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is described by clients as positive and welcoming. One reviewer specifically mentioned that their dog, who is typically uncomfortable with strangers, was at ease during their visit with Dr. Sodhi. This suggests a calm and patient atmosphere within the clinic, where the comfort of the animal is a priority. The positive interactions with the administrative staff, Sushma and Reena, who were helpful with scheduling and answering questions, further contribute to a smooth and stress-free experience for pet owners. The overall impression is that the clinic fosters a gentle and reassuring environment for both pets and their human companions.

The services offered at Animal Wellness and Rehabilitation Center are diverse, focusing on holistic and rehabilitative care. Dr. Sodhi is highlighted as being patient and thorough in explaining the treatment plans and at-home care instructions to pet owners, indicating a commitment to client education and involvement in their pet's recovery. The case of the French Bulldog with crushed spinal discs showcases the range of therapies offered: hydrotherapy, acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, and infrared pulse. These treatments were employed as an alternative to more invasive and expensive neurological interventions like MRI and surgery, demonstrating the clinic's focus on less conventional yet potentially effective approaches to healing and rehabilitation.

A key feature of Animal Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is its emphasis on alternative and rehabilitative therapies. The successful treatment of the paralyzed French Bulldog, who regained sensation and some mobility after three weeks of therapy, underscores the potential benefits of these approaches. The clinic offers a multi-modal treatment plan tailored to the individual needs of each animal, combining different therapies to achieve the best possible outcome. This feature is particularly appealing to pet owners seeking less invasive options or those for whom traditional veterinary medicine may not have provided the desired results.

Another significant feature is the compassionate and caring approach of Dr. Sodhi and the entire team. The reviewer whose dog was paralyzed specifically mentioned that Dr. Sodhi and his wife are "very loving and compassionate" with their pet and with other animals they observed at the clinic. This emphasis on a caring and personal touch can be especially comforting for pet owners dealing with serious health issues in their animals. The positive testimonials suggest a genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing the best possible care with empathy and understanding.

The positive experiences shared by clients highlight the thoroughness and effectiveness of the care provided. Dr. Sodhi's patience in ensuring the pet owner understood the at-home care regimen indicates a commitment to comprehensive treatment that extends beyond the clinic visits. The successful rehabilitation of the French Bulldog, who showed significant improvement in a relatively short period, speaks to the potential efficacy of the therapies offered at Animal Wellness and Rehabilitation Center. These positive outcomes, coupled with the compassionate care, make the clinic a highly recommended option for pet owners seeking holistic and rehabilitative services.

My French Bulldog was playing outside, just running back and forth happily, springing up and down on our garden walls, when suddenly he stopped. He crushed eight discs with his happy play and his back legs no longer move. He was in great pain. Incontinent. Needs help to empty his bladder. I was referred for neurology, MRI, surgery, but all of that is invasive, expensive, and no guarantee of restoration. Plus, when I had pet insurance with my last dog, they were very stingy about paying for his cherry eye surgery, and refused the subsequent three when the first was botched. So I opted not to have insurance. Maybe they would have forked out the $4000-7000 for the neurologist and MRI. Maybe they would have happily just coughed up the $17,000 quoted for back surgery. Maybe they would have paid for the second and third, too, but insurance is not exactly about paying out, and in a cost-benefit analysis, insurance could just as easily have cost another $1200-3000/yr. (as before) with zero gains. I have worked with paralysis in humans and animals before and began to look for an alternative therapy. That's when I was referred to Dr. Sodhi and his family clinic in Bellevue. It is within 20 minutes (25-30 with traffic) of my home in Seattle. In three weeks, after hydrotherapy, acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, and infrared pulse, he has sensation returning to both back feet and can slightly wiggle his tiny chestnut of a tail. It is honestly everything I had hoped. They LOVE their animals and their people. Dr. Sodhi and his wife are very loving and compassionate with my sweetie, and with all the other dogs and one cat I see.

I have been taking my Frenchie Penny to Animal Wellness and Rehab Center since 2020. They provide the most excellent care and service. My dog gets hydrotherapy and acupuncture for maintaining any pain related to her hemivertebrae and back issues. This has helped her to be pain free for many years with hardly any flare ups. One time during a flare up in pain Dr Sodhi managed to squeeze her into his already full schedule for acupuncture. I would highly recommend them to anyone with pets needing holistic care. I know all the staff well and they are so kind and caring at all times.

We have been a client since 2007. We have had 7 dogs over the years and have never been disappointed. Dr. Sodhi is very caring and the dogs feel that. A friend had a dog who was very frightened going to the vet; when she started seeing Dr. Sodhi she would not go anywhere else...her dog loved him...dogs know, right ? Dr. Sodhi and his team are very caring. The combination of holistic and conventional medicine offered is valuable. Over the years we have experienced every treatment available for the dogs. In one case Dr. Sodhi's treatment eliminated the need for surgery. The treatment post surgery on a couple dogs has greatly helped healing. At this time we have a large dog over 9 years old with arthritis and he has been having acupuncture twice a week. It is amazing how much it has helped him. We have been referring clients to Animal Wellness Center and will continue to do so. Also, we definitely prefer veterinarian owned, not corporate owned.

My wife and I recently adopted an abandoned kitten in our neighborhood and the little fella we named "Pippin" turned out to have a lot of health issues from his rough first 6 months of life, likely living in the woods in survival mode. Dr. Sodhi was recommended to us by a friend and despite feeling relatively satisfied with the veterinarian we had already chosen and visited a couple times, we wanted the best for "Pippin" and went to see Dr. Sodhi at my friend's recommendation and we knew we made the right decision after our 1st visit. I teach classes on personal and professional development for a living and in one of my classes I preach the importance of 2 things above all else: having knowledge and CARING about what you do. Dr. Sodhi and his staff are an absolute 10/10 on those 2 qualities and many others. I cannot recomment Animal Wellness and Rehabilitation Center enough.
