The best pet Urgent Care experience we’ve had in LA. The intake team was fast, kind, and professional and Dr. Linney was truly amazing. He sat with us and worked to figure out what was going on with our pup and got to the root problem (something we’ve been trying to do with other vets for 2+ years). He figured out what was going on and told us our options for diagnostics. He didn’t pressure us to do every test he thought of and he let us choose the most important tests that were in our budget. I’ve also never seen such efficient use of time at a veterinary office - other patients were moving through in a reasonable amount of time, too. One of the most amazing parts was when we were waiting for our pup to come back out so we could leave, the vet tech came out holding her in her arms. Our dog is a rescue and extremely anxious and has never let another person hold her. She was so happy and relaxed and we knew they took great care of her. And as of today - 24 hours after our visit - our pup is visibly better, eating, and on the mend. Highly recommend these guys.

Based on feedback from pet owners, Animal Urgent Care K-Town stands out for providing the "best pet Urgent Care experience" in Los Angeles. Customers have highlighted the intake team's speed, kindness, and professionalism. Moreover, Dr. Linney has been praised as "truly amazing" for his thorough approach to diagnosing pet issues, even resolving problems that had persisted for over two years with other veterinarians. Dr. Linney is noted for clearly explaining diagnostic options without pressuring owners to pursue every possible test, allowing them to make budget-conscious decisions regarding their pet's care.

A particularly heartwarming aspect mentioned by one customer was the efficient use of time at the clinic and the gentle care shown to their anxious rescue dog. The vet tech holding the dog, who typically resists being held by strangers, in her arms, left a lasting positive impression, assuring the owners of the compassionate treatment their pet received. Importantly, this pet showed visible improvement within 24 hours of their visit, further attesting to the quality of care provided.

Another compelling testimonial recounts how Dr. Goodman and the staff "really saved the day" for a small stray dog hit by two cars. The team's calm demeanor, detailed explanations, and willingness to work with the rescuer to provide the best care, including extra treatments when the initial estimate exceeded their financial capacity, underscore their compassion and dedication to animal welfare. The reviewer specifically appreciated that the staff immediately began treating the injured dog while the paperwork was being completed, contrasting this with another facility that prioritized paperwork and a large deposit before initiating care.

Animal Urgent Care K-Town also demonstrated excellent follow-up, being attentive and helpful when the rescuer called with subsequent questions. Furthermore, in a unique initiative, the clinic reportedly makes a donation to a local animal shelter for every review they receive, showcasing their commitment to the broader animal welfare community.

The environment of Animal Urgent Care K-Town, based on the reviews, appears to be efficient and caring. The fast and professional intake process suggests a well-organized clinic. The kindness of the staff and the gentle handling of anxious pets indicate a comforting atmosphere focused on the well-being of the animals. The cleanliness, while not explicitly mentioned, is typically expected in a veterinary urgent care setting.

The services offered at this Pet Hospital, specializing in urgent care, would primarily focus on addressing immediate health concerns that are not life-threatening but require prompt attention. These might include issues like sudden illnesses, minor injuries, allergic reactions, and other non-emergency situations that cannot wait for a regular veterinary appointment. The successful diagnosis and treatment of a chronic issue by Dr. Linney also suggest a strong diagnostic capability within the clinic.

Dr. Goodman and staff at Animal Urgent Care K-Town really saved the day! On Thursday, I picked up a small stray dog that had been brutally hit by 2 cars. The dog was quiet as a mouse and seemingly calm, while I was panicked and bawling. They spoke to me calmly, explained everything in detail, answered all my questions, and really worked with me to bring the best level of care for this poor little pup. They were not only very compassionate and kind to the pup - even asking for an update if I didn't mind - but also to me, sympathizing with my situation and even including a couple of extra treatments, as the estimate came out to an amount that was way beyond my capabilities at the moment. One thing that I REALLY liked: when I arrived, they quickly picked up the pup at reception and got started on cleaning and treating him while I was filling out paperwork. I once went to LAASER Los Angeles Animal Specialty, Emergency & Rehabilitation on N. San Fernando Rd., and they wouldn't even start until I had signed multiple papges and put down a $1,000 deposit even though the kitten was crying in pain. I understand sometimes people can't/don't pay, but I think the priority is always saving an animal's life first... especially a stray. I believe that we all need to contribute what we can. Animal Urgent Care K-Town definitely did that and their deposit amount was considerably lower as well. It was still quite a lot of money but considering it was manageable and I was speedily able to get the help I needed, it was worth it. The next day, I also made a follow-up call with some questions and they were very attentive and helpful. Lastly, for every review, they will even make a donation to a local animal shelter! How awesome is that? Definitely recommend :)

I brought my dog here as a walk in on a Monday night. They took him in right away. They’re so nice and friendly. The doctor explained everything to me and my partner. I love how they give you options and not pressure you. Also the ladies in front the desk, drew a picture of my dog. So cute! I want her to draw my other dogs lol Anyways my dog end up getting eye surgery the next day (somewhere else). They gave us a list of eye clinics to take my dog and medicine. Thank you everyone!

You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression, and Animal Urgent Care in K-Town on Olympic Blvd failed from the start. Thankfully, it could only go up from there. My cat needed urgent care, so I made an online appointment for noon. I arrived at 11:58 AM, only to find the front door locked. In the 90-degree LA heat, with my cat in his carrier, a receptionist came outside and told me to wait in my car. It wasn’t a great start. Thankfully, just a few moments later, a nurse came to my car with a smile and invited me into the lobby. She was pleasant, thorough in her questions, and took my cat inside right away, which gave me some relief. The lobby was clean, modern, and decorated with vibrant pops of orange that made the space feel inviting. After signing consent forms, I was given the option to either wait or come back, but I wasn’t told how long it would take to hear back about my cat. I decided to wait. After paying $120 upfront for the initial exam, I was led to a private waiting area. It’s now been 45 minutes, and I still have no idea what’s going on with my cat. There’s been no update or indication of what might be wrong, and the waiting is starting to feel unbearable. While the staff was pleasant, the lack of communication is frustrating. I'm just hoping the care is worth the wait.

I am a first time cat dad and when my male cat, Zuko started showing signs of urinary problems I quickly googled the best animal Urgent Care in the area. I am so glad that I found this place. The staff from the front desk to the vets and doctors in the back were so helpful, thorough and answered all of my questions and concerns. This team cares about your animals and animals parents as well. I cannot recommend this place anymore, and I had such an amazing experience from such a potentially traumatizing event. Zuko is back home and feeling much better all thanks to this place. 10/10.
