Animal Hospital is a wonderful place. We’ve adopted three cats from the HoCo humane society and this is where they all came to be spayed and neutered. While not close to where we live in Carroll County, we were so impressed by them that we continue to use them as our primary vet.

Sep 13, 2024 · Evan WeberIt’s is with great sadness that we had to put our Pug Cookie down but I highly recommend this vet, they are all very nice & seem to care about our dog. They also do large animals & are next to a farm with horses which is nice bc we always enjoyed seeing the horses on our visits. And to Cookie, until we meet again in heaven. I will miss you everyday, and hope one day it won’t be every minute of the day.
Sep 26, 2024 · KristinaNo complaints on quality of service. One of the receptionists is amazing and the other is a bit less friendly and welcoming but still good enough. They are good with animals. There are cute staff cats in the lobby! 😍 a pro for animal lovers but a con if you have a pet who would be upset by cats. FYI: They will NOT help you or your pet at all in any kind of emergency.
Nov 09, 2024 · Maddie BoyleI've just adopted a cat from Howard County Animal Control and they send all of their cats and dogs there to be spayed or neutered. My cat is a long haired cat. The shelter doesn't shave long haired cats to check for a scar, so she was sent to this vet to be checked before she can come home with me. The previous owner didn't say much about my cat and her sister in the surrender notes, except that they both had been spayed. Her sister is short haired and a scar could be found. Immediately following signing the adoption paperwork I called this vet and explained that she is likely spayed already because her sister was and need her shaved and really checked. I was told they couldn't find a scar, but after sedating her they would shave and check before proceeding. Yeah, well, they must not have checked really well because they proceeded with the spaying procedure and once she was cut, they realized she was already spayed. So now my cat will not only have to acclimate to a new home, but will also need 10-14 days of post surgery recovery from a procedure she didnt need! Would NOT recommend this facility to anyone who needs their cat looked after.
Oct 21, 2024 · Katie's CornerI loved the care they gave to my boy (large dog), who is not always great with strangers -- they handled him excellently! I also appreciate the preparation they gave me to do from home before his surgery so when we arrived there was not a ton of paperwork. Thank you for your care and making the process simple!
Sep 12, 2024 · Andrea HashimotoAlice is a 7 year old kitty who we just rescued in March. She received her shots and a general examination by Dr. Scheinberg. Dr. Scheinberg determined Alice needed dental surgery to remove some teeth. Alice also needed nose surgery to assist with her breathing. (Alice is a Persian). Additionally, we had Alice groomed at this practice. Mel did an excellent job grooming her. Heartily, I recommend this practice. I found the entire staff to be compassionate and efficient. Dr. Scheinberg carefully explained all after care, and performed both surgeries successfully. Alice had no post surgical nor grooming issues. A total thumbs up to Dr. Scheinberg, Mel, and the rest and the staff!
