Oct 06, 2024 · Alex Bilezerian (alex)After a couple of years of trying this place I have to give up, the previous Vet they had there was a decent knowledgeable older gentleman that actually appeared to care for the pets he works for. My latest trip there left me absolutely disappointed and disgusted by the entire system. My poor dog has been suffering, from these reported symptoms that I gave to them prior to exam. Unusual behavior, constantly getting up and pacing around furniture, drooling not going to the bathroom as often, fur completely shEd off, new fur is coated with white greasy powdery dandruff, then her usual eye infections and irritation. after literally 6 minutes with my dog outside the room they came back and said nothing. I had to inquire for every one of the symptoms I already reported for the take in. The new vet appeared to be extremely young and not at all engaging for finding what is wrong. It was me asking questions and getting very vague responses. only to ask if they checked her ears which they didn't, and she tried to do it in front of me and already said there doesn't appear to be any buildup without even getting the q-tip in past an inch or two because she was fidgeting. I asked did you look at her privates to see if there's an infection, they said they looked around there and she appears to be very sensitive around there(that's it) I asked is it infected, (possible is what she said)?? asked about her fur I got no response other than looks like dandruff, I asked about the eyes, and they said nothing about her history of her eyes, claimed that I never got the tear duct exam when I know I have and I paid for it, if it wasn't there was the previous vet they should have gotten the answers from them. In other words it was like my dog was a new patient they had no history of and had no input from past visits, which just isn't the case I've been taking her there for at least 2 years or more. All history should have been gathered and they should have had more input on how to help her. I had to ask how to investigate deeper...blood tests cultures and that's when she offered the estimate which was $600 for all of that. Overall, I have to say I wish them no ill will, however it is a business and I am the customer with the patient, they have an obligation to research her history make a logical prognosis and treatment plan and not base it off of my inquiries and questions... I feel I paid $100 to have her nails clipped and I got an estimate of $600 if I care to do any more with them. Not what they used to be I'm sorry, but this is my experience. I have to go back to find a new vet.
Sep 24, 2024 · Lou CartaWe have been using AMC since it opened with excellent service. Since being bought out by Thrive, a Nationwide company the provider turnover and fees have gone through the roof. A recent visit, scheduled a week in advance is a case in point. Upon arrival with our Lab who was bleeding through his nose and mouth, we were told they had no record of our appointment, even though the phone receptionist had specifically said our appointment was to see Dr. Jeff. Well, Jeff was "unavailable". We finally were seen by a young lady and after a short exam she said there was nothing she could, see a specialist. Oh, and by the way that will be $633.00 for today's visit. Give me a small provider owned clinic anytime. These National chains are ripping us off.
Oct 09, 2024 · Tom SamodenForever grateful to all the staff and Doctors who have given exceptional care and love to our senior Zeus. Especially grateful to Dr. Keenan who's care has given us extra time with him after battling cancer and now kidney failure. Our entire family is grateful for each day we have with him.
Sep 30, 2024 · Rebecca ByrdI have a 130 Cane Corso. He is always welcomed at the hotel. They do a fantastic job. I literally drive one hour from my house to drop him off. They have great staff and I never worry when he is boarded. Keep up the great work‼️
