We have been canine family members for fourteen years. I have always been able to count on quality care for my fur loves 7 days a week. Whether by service, medication, questions, or curiosity. Kevin has been my senior dog's primary physician since she was 5 weeks old. My little guy since 4 weeks old. He has congenital epilepsy, and under their care, he has been thriving for 4.5 years. Whether you need check-ups, walk-in, or emergency care, someone is always there.

Welcome to Animal Medical Clinic of Columbia, LLC

Welcome to the introduction of Animal Medical Clinic of Columbia, LLC, a dedicated pet hospital serving the local community of Columbia, Tennessee, and surrounding areas. As a vital resource within the broader category of Pet Hospitals, Animal Medical Clinic of Columbia, LLC aims to provide comprehensive veterinary care for your beloved animal companions. Understanding the importance of accessible and reliable healthcare for pets, this clinic offers a range of services and support to address various needs, from routine wellness to urgent medical attention.

Located at 701 Lion Pkwy, Columbia, TN 38401, USA, Animal Medical Clinic of Columbia, LLC can be easily contacted at (931) 388-6215 or via mobile phone at +1 931-388-6215. This accessibility ensures that pet owners can readily reach out for appointments, inquiries, or in times of emergency.

Based on available information, including direct testimonials from pet owners, we can gain insights into the environment, services, and features of Animal Medical Clinic of Columbia, LLC. One long-term customer, who has been a "canine family member" for fourteen years, speaks highly of the clinic's consistent quality care, available seven days a week. This suggests a commitment to accessibility and a broad service window to accommodate various schedules and needs. The testimonial further highlights the personalized care received, with a specific veterinarian, Kevin, serving as the primary physician for their senior dog since puppyhood and for their younger dog who has congenital epilepsy. The fact that the younger dog has been "thriving" for 4.5 years under their care speaks to the clinic's expertise in managing chronic conditions and providing ongoing support. The review also explicitly mentions the availability of check-ups, walk-in services, and emergency care, indicating a comprehensive approach to pet healthcare.

However, it is crucial to present a balanced perspective by also considering less favorable experiences. Another customer shared a deeply concerning account involving a misdiagnosis of their cat. According to this review, the cat presented with severe pain and difficulty urinating. The initial diagnosis at Animal Medical Clinic of Columbia, LLC was a urinary tract infection (UTI) based on a squeezed urine sample. Subsequently, a visit to their regular veterinarian at Maury County Veterinary Hospital revealed a much more critical condition: eight calcium stones in the bladder with one obstructing the urethra and causing a hole. The cat required emergency surgery and a week-long hospital stay. This customer explicitly warns against visiting Animal Medical Clinic of Columbia, LLC, alleging carelessness and lack of education, and attributing their cat's survival to the intervention of their regular vet. This starkly contrasting review underscores the importance of considering all available feedback when evaluating a veterinary service.

Drawing from these contrasting accounts, it is challenging to form a definitive and universally positive picture of Animal Medical Clinic of Columbia, LLC. The positive review emphasizes long-term relationships, consistent care quality across various needs (service, medication, questions), and accessibility for different types of visits, including emergencies. This suggests a clinic that, for some pet owners, provides reliable and comprehensive care, fostering trust over many years. The mention of a dedicated primary physician further points to a personalized approach, which can be particularly valuable for pets with chronic conditions or long-term health management needs.

On the other hand, the negative review raises serious concerns about diagnostic accuracy and the potential for severe consequences resulting from misdiagnosis. The discrepancy between the initial UTI diagnosis and the subsequent discovery of bladder stones and urethral obstruction is significant. Such a situation highlights the critical nature of accurate and thorough veterinary assessments, especially in cases of acute distress. The customer's strong negative sentiment and direct warning should be acknowledged as a part of the overall feedback landscape for this clinic.

As a platform connecting local users with Pet Hospitals, it is our aim to present an objective overview based on the available information. In the case of Animal Medical Clinic of Columbia, LLC, the feedback is mixed, with a positive account highlighting consistent and comprehensive care over a long period, and a negative account detailing a severe misdiagnosis with potentially life-threatening consequences.

Potential users are advised to consider these contrasting experiences when making decisions about their pet's healthcare. It may be beneficial to seek additional information, such as further reviews from other pet owners, to gain a broader understanding of the clinic's strengths and weaknesses. Visiting the clinic for an initial consultation or discussing specific concerns with the veterinary staff could also provide valuable insights into their environment, services, and approach to pet care.

When choosing a pet hospital, several factors are typically important to pet owners: the expertise and qualifications of the veterinary staff, the range of services offered (including preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, emergency services), the cleanliness and comfort of the clinic environment, the availability of advanced medical equipment, and the overall communication and patient care provided. While the positive review suggests competence in long-term care and accessibility, the negative review raises questions about diagnostic capabilities in certain critical situations.

For local users in Columbia, TN, considering Animal Medical Clinic of Columbia, LLC as a potential Pet Hospital, it is recommended to weigh the available feedback carefully. The positive testimonial speaks to consistent quality and a broad range of services, while the negative one serves as a serious caution regarding diagnostic accuracy. Further research and potentially a direct interaction with the clinic may be necessary to make an informed decision about entrusting your pet's health to this provider.

In conclusion, Animal Medical Clinic of Columbia, LLC presents a complex picture based on the limited public feedback available. While one customer reports years of positive experiences and reliable care, another recounts a critical misdiagnosis with severe potential consequences. Local users seeking veterinary care in Columbia, TN, should consider these perspectives and conduct their own due diligence to determine if this clinic meets their specific needs and expectations for their beloved pets.

Do not go here!!! They will misdiagnose your pets and kill them. They are not our normal vet but we had to bring our cat to them because our vet was not open. Our cat was screaming out in pain having difficulty urinating they squeezed a urine sample out of her and said she had a uti. We took our cat to our vet the next day and they discovered she had 8 calcium stones in her bladder and had a stone stuck in her urethra blocking it that caused a hole, she had to have emergency surgery and stay with our vet for a week to see if she would survive. Thankfully she survived but if we did not follow up with Maury county veterinary hospital (our vet) our cat would be dead because they were careless and uneducated.

This isn't my regular vet, but I needed somewhere to go after an incident at the park nearby. They were able to squeeze me in before the end of the day and took great care of my dog! Thank you all so much for helping us on such short notice!

Dr. Kevin, and Dr. Shawn, saved my sweet boys life! Marshall went in on Thursday and was a very very sick boy. Although we didn't ever figure out what was wrong with him, they did absolutely everything they possibly could to save him. Marshall was very dehydrated, not eating, vomiting up any and every thing he ate, or drank. He was so dehydrated and knocking on deaths door. Marshall was in the hospital for 5 days. They took exceptional care of him. The techs and receptionists are wonderful as well. Marshall came on on Tuesday, and is thriving!! He's eating chicken and rice, drinking water, eat yogurt, and getting back to his old self. He's doing so much better! Considering Marshall hadn't eaten in 9 days, he is still alive, hydrated, happy, and home. Please, if you need to take your furbaby to the vet, please bring them to this clinic!! They ate absolutely wonderful!

Dr. Kevin has always taken great care of all of my dogs as well as my the dogs that belong to my adult children. If it weren't for their prompt, compassionate care my husband's dog, she probably would not be here.
