Animal Medical Center of Wyoming

Brought my dog here from when he was 6 months old. Employee where mostly angels to my dog. Only complaints with this office is how pushy they where for shots for my dog. A couple of times during covid our nurse could not tell me what half of the shots on the list where. I’ve had dogs my whole life and never had this experience. I don’t blame the staff at all for this. Only thing I will have to say is we put our dog down today and my wife called in the am to confirm and they said we don’t have you on our schedule even though we made his appointment a week prior to finding out he has cancer. They said they could squeeze us in at the original time we had our appointment. We showed up at five and the parking spot they told us to park in a certain spot it was occupied fine not a big deal but all they had was a blanket on a concrete floor while they had a nice fancy couch for us to Sit on. We waited 10-15 min for the doctor to come in… to tell us what she was going to do and wait another 10 min for them to come in and give him a IV and wait another 5 min for the doctor to come in. Put down a few dogs and they where all ready to go no wait or anything. Like they where expecting us!! The doctor and all the nurses where great but the organization of this place is ridiculous.

I’m very impressed with AMCW! The staff here are super kind and welcoming. My husband and I are first time kitten owners so we don’t know a ton about specific vaccinations or anything. Dr. Dykhouse explained everything to me very nicely and was able to take care of all of my kitten’s needs! He didn’t seem in a rush to finish the appointment or anything either; I really felt like he was listening to everything I was saying and that he wanted to do his best to answer all of my questions and give me all of the information I needed. I will definitely be recommending that people go to AMCW! 😊👍🏻

Staff was amazing and did everything I asked when I sent my 15 yr old Maggie to the rainbow bridge on Monday. Was the hardest thing I’ve ever done but they made it bearable. They are also very good with my 8 yr old Shepherd. I will be back for her shots and medical care! Thank you so much!

We love going to AMC for all our pups needs. The staff is always so kind and we love that our anxious pup only has one place he needs to go for vet care, grooming, boarding!
