I'm honestly quite impressed with them. The front desk staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They took in my dog as an emergency transfer and Dr. Donovan performed emergency surgery to place a tracheal stent which is so rare to find. She was so pleasant and extremely knowledgeable having been doing this for fifteen years. I wish more people knew about this. We had been stuck at emergency centers down south that claim to help with tracheal collapse but when collapse actually happened, they don't treat with a stent. We were stuck in a compromising position of finding somewhere else to transfer our dog for this surgery. Quite hard to do when there is no ambulance and it's tricky to stabilize. But we lucked out and they were really great!

The care team is so great! They took really good care of our cat Dude who came in with aggressive/crisis kidney failure and is now home and stable (knock on wood). They didn't give up on him and were very communicative. They also let us come in to see him every day while he was there. Obviously it was incredibly expensive, but that's to be expected.

After almost four years of my beloved cat William Bell bravely fighting an aggressive lymphoma, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the incredible team at AMCS. This journey took us through six clinics across four states in two different countries, always looking for a place where the team’s intentions felt genuine and compassionate. Too often, veterinary care can feel profit-driven, so finding a team that understands the care extends to both pet and owner is invaluable. The AMCS team exceeded my expectations, with compassion and professionalism in every interaction. Special thanks to Dr. Katie Robinson, who initiated William’s treatment and guided us early on; Dr. Nick Szigetvari, an exceptional doctor whom I truly ADORE 🤍 and took care of us; and Dr. Mary Davis, who went above and beyond to fit William into her schedule during his final days, offering me the reassurance I needed to make difficult choices thoughtfully. Her patient guidance helped me feel confident and not rushed in those critical moments. To everyone who played a role — whether in reception, the wonderful triage team, or any of the dedicated staff who worked closely with the doctors — your kindness and care provided incredible comfort during this challenging time. Each of you contributed in ways that were equally meaningful to me, and I cannot thank you enough. The AMCS team went above and beyond with thoughtful gestures that meant a lot to me. After William’s passing, they honored him by sending a beautiful candle, and just days later, a handwritten letter arrived, which moved me to tears. They handled everything, including billing, with fairness and empathy - never pushing unnecessary expenses and always providing clear, balanced options at every step. For any pet owner seeking a team that values both high-quality medical care and genuine human compassion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Animal Medical Center of Seattle. Thank you for being part of William’s journey. I will always be grateful and keep you in my heart!

Literally cannot thank this hospital enough for saving our Max!! I brought Max in Thursday (12/19) afternoon for an MRI transfer from a previous ER in Redmond. Max was having trouble urinating. Dr Mi was on that evening and explained her exam findings in great detail, and provided us with a second opinion. She was extremely knowledgeable and worked with neuro and other colleagues to form a new game plan for the evening. Very much appreciate her expertise and not diving right into the MRI. Saved us money too! Dr Ravi took over Max’s care after that and was just as wonderful. He explained Max’s diagnoses in terms I could understand, even with drawings to make it easier. You can tell he really loves his job and is great at it. I am very impressed with our visit, front staff was always welcoming too! Will recommend this hospital to anyone in the future!

They were able to quickly respond to my pups needs very quickly. We went through labs scans and X-rays quickly and got him Into surgery shortly thereafter. The staff as kind and understanding. The vets were well informed skilled and tell it to you straight. Overall I would definitely go back there for Emergencies but hope I do not have to go Back

Axel wouldn’t have been alive if it weren’t for AMCS. We thank all of the staff members from being very transparent with us from day one. Knowing that treatment would not be guaranteed and that we had a long road ahead of us, we still went through with hospitalization. And biopsy. His stomach had completely stopped processing - we had him hospitalized at another ER that did everything they could to find the cause and help him through. Our last hope was to have him transferred over to specialty care for further support while he had his biopsies taken from his stomach and intestines for further evaluation. We are extremely grateful to all staff members for helping him. He’s been recovering since the procedure and improving by the day.

But we lucked out and they were really great! UPDATE: I think it's important to know that after the tracheal stent, our beloved Charlie only loved another 6 weeks. So... looking back, I think there should be some more direct conversations about the success rate. It was discussed, but seeing these results is a quite concerning reality. The rest of his airways collapsed. After all said and done, when I notified them that we made the difficult decision to help him cross the rainbow bridge, I never even received a call or email from the doctors. That was disappointing. He wasn't just a number and a dollar sign... he was our little angel that we worked so hard to save. He was in and out of there 4-5 times in six weeks and we hear nothing? So consider your options and how much you want to put your beloved pet through if needing a tracheal stent operation. I'm not convinced it's worth the pain and suffering for another few weeks.
