Animal Medical Center of Burtonsville

AMC of Burtonsville is probably the best veterinary experience I and my dog have ever had! They are the kindest group of individuals and will go out of their way to help. I recently stopped in for an emergency visit, and while my dog is a patient, we did not have an appointment and it was a Saturday (so a busy appt day and limited hours). I explained our situation and the veterinarian made room in her schedule almost immediately to see my dog, address the issue, and got us out the door in less than 2 hours. Their willingness to accommodate us like that saved us hundreds of dollars from an urgent care visit. My dog also had a surgery here and the experience all around was top notch. I would 100% recommend this practice to anyone! Thank you AMC!

I would give it zero if that was possible. Discrimination, Unprofessionalism, Underqualified Techs, these are a few ways to describe my experience when taking my senior dog. First off, one of the vet techs when we were checking in was being so lively and chatty with everyone else but once my mother and I, who were the only minorities went to her, we greeted with attitude and unprofessionalism, and once she decided to do her job, she kept looking at us and saying “nail trim?” with the worst attitude and didn’t insinuate we should hand her our dog just standing like we were mind readers. She allowed no privacy in the office because she said she “needs air” as if fans were not going off. To put a cherry on top, the other vet tech who was supposed to check out our senior dog was absolutely clueless as to what was going on, did not take any sanitary precautions no hand wash or even sanitizer before touching our dog AFTER blowing her nose. We have been taking our dog here since Dr. Tinetti was around and god knows how this place has fallen apart since then it is heartbreaking because they were once so kind and professional with us and our dogs. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Dr. Robbins and her staff have provided excellent care for our dog, Willow. They are attentive to her needs and take the time to answer our questions and respond to our concerns.

I have been taking my cat to Dr. Robbins for the last six years. She is totally top notch in terms of knowledge and, caregiving . I could have gone to veterinarians closer to my home but the trip to her office is always worth it. I cannot say enough kind words about my experience with Dr. Robbins and her phenomenal staff which offers more than great customer service but with genuine care

We've been going here for 15 years. While owned by Dr. Tinetti, the service was great. Now, Dr. Robbins has repeatedly misdiagnosed my dog, and failed to perform the proper tests in order to rule out cancer. I just put my dog down for a COMPLETELY TREATABLE form of cancer because Dr. Robbins failed to diagnose. We were told he was in great condition even though he was constantly crying and in visible pain at home. We were left with a lot of questions on his treatment because we were not permitted in the office during ANY appointments. It was a great stress on our family for our dog to be sick and not have answers. It didn't feel like Dr. Robbins was trying to help. Go to a vet clinic that lets you stay with your animal during appointments. The staff are wonderful, amazing, and caring. This review has no reflection on them.
