I moved here 7 years ago and found Animal Medical Center of Boone for my three dogs. One by one I’ve lost all three due to old age, just losing the last one on Friday. All through the years, I’ve relayed on Dr Roten and her staff to care for my furry kids! I just want to let you know how valuable this clinic has been. Always available, always caring always professional. I recommend this clinic to everyone I know. Well now I have two kitties… guess where I take them??? Thank you for your wonderful service!

We were there for a vaccination and arrived early. I asked the receptionist if my dog's lungs could be listened to before the vaccine as he has been snorting and coughing a bit and I was concerned with his potential vulnerability. The receptionist told me that this appointment was not scheduled to be with a doctor. The vaccine was administered by a perky assistant who was kind and efficient. I understand that this was a scheduled vaccination and not an evaluation. I guess I just wish I had been assured that going ahead with the vaccination would be okay. It felt cold and like the receptionist was too busy to check with the doctor. My husband asked if the dog could be weighed and one of the interns helped us with enthusiasm. I asked the receptionist for more flea and tick prevention and she complied making sure we wanted our usual amount. For me, it's important to be valued, for our dog to be welcomed, and to feel like our business is appreciated.

*THE BEST EXPERIENCE* I knew immediately when I called, I found an amazing veterinarian to call home. The kindness from those at the front desk is exceptional. The vet assistance ladies were so great and handled Kiska with so much love. There experience handling large dogs is awesome! The Dr. was hands down the best! She taught me how to administer eye ointment the proper way, and I have a future apt for dental cleanings. These doctors are down to earth, the best ever! I'm so thankful and blessed to have found these amazing folks. Thank you so much.

Great little animal clinic! I didn't have much contact or interaction with any of the doctors or other staff because of the pandemic. But curbside service was excellent. Prices were pretty good too, only like $45 for the exam and then multiple shots/vaccines for another $45 and it all only took about 10 minutes. Definitely would recommend
