ZERO STARS. Do not get any surgeries from this clinic. We brought our dog in for TPLO surgery, were forced to consent to giving him NINE VACCINES AT ONCE before performing the surgery ONLY because its clinic policy; we looked the vet straight in her eyes and told her that we didn't want to give him the vaccines and that he did not need them. She ignored us and insisted on following policy, without even thinking... In less than six weeks our perfectly healthy dog of 8 years; who people often confused for being a puppy, because of his health and energy; developed an autoimmune blood disease. Vaccine induced thrombosis/ thrombocytopenia: VITTS. Do yourself and your best friend a favor and look it up. Veterinary literature, that is publicly available, clearly states not to put older dogs through that kind of vaccination because of increased risk of VITTS and YET- no vet at this clinic or any other he went to- had ever heard of said condition. Our dog suffered miserably and died from this disease less than two years later. His death was brought on exclusively by blind, ignorant, unnecessary clinic policy and ignorance of the people who are supposed to take care of our loved ones. If I could sue this hospital and the veterinarians, I would. If I could convince ONE person working there to reconsider their vaccination policy- it would be a victory. The pain caused by Taz's passing is only worsened by the anger of knowing that there are other people out there losing their family members too soon because of pure ignorance. Please do better than we did, DO NOT TRUST THEM TO KNOW WHATS BEST FOR YOUR PET. Do your own research and stand up against poor practices. Nothing will bring Taz back, but please Please PLEASE: do not succumb to appeals to authority.

Welcome to Animal Hospital Randolph

Animal Hospital Randolph, located at 1435 Zoo Pkwy in Asheboro, NC, is listed as a Pet Hospital serving the local community. They can be contacted at (336) 625-6822 or +1 336-625-6822. As a platform category, Pet Hospitals typically offer a range of services and potentially goods for sale related to the health and well-being of pets.

Based on the limited information available and the provided customer reviews, offering a detailed description of the environment, services, and features requires careful consideration of the feedback received. While it is standard for pet hospitals to provide a space for examinations, treatments, and potentially surgical procedures, the reviews raise significant concerns about the operational environment and policies at Animal Hospital Randolph.

One review expresses a deeply negative experience regarding a dog undergoing TPLO surgery. The reviewer alleges that they were compelled to consent to the administration of nine vaccines simultaneously before the surgery, despite their objections and belief that their dog did not need them. This individual further claims that their otherwise healthy eight-year-old dog developed an autoimmune blood disease (Vaccine-induced thrombosis/thrombocytopenia: VITTS) within six weeks following this vaccination, ultimately leading to the dog's death less than two years later. The reviewer strongly criticizes the clinic's mandatory vaccination policy and what they perceive as ignorance of potential risks associated with such practices, particularly in older dogs. They explicitly advise others to not trust the clinic to know what is best for their pet and to conduct their own research.

Another long-term customer, who had been taking their dogs to Randolph Animal Hospital for 40 years, also shared a negative recent experience. This reviewer states that they are now seeking a new veterinarian due to a perceived decline in care and compassion. Their account details an incident where their Labrador was taken to another room for a blood draw, which was reportedly unsuccessful, contrasting with past experiences where the dog had no issues with blood draws when the owner was present. Furthermore, this reviewer mentions overhearing unprofessional conversations among staff in the back and notes the apparent departure of a previously trusted and caring doctor. They conclude that the clinic now feels like a "money grab" and advises others to find veterinary care elsewhere.

Given these two starkly negative reviews, it is challenging to objectively describe the typical services, features, or any potential promotional information of Animal Hospital Randolph in a positive light. Based on this feedback, potential local users should be aware of the serious concerns raised by previous clients regarding the clinic's policies, particularly concerning mandatory vaccinations before surgery, the handling of pets during procedures, and the overall level of compassionate care.

Typically, a Pet Hospital like Animal Hospital Randolph would be expected to offer services such as routine check-ups, vaccinations (though the necessity and approach are questioned in the reviews), diagnostics, surgery, and potentially dental care. However, the provided testimonials strongly suggest that prospective clients should exercise caution and consider these experiences when making decisions about their pet's veterinary care.

No specific promotional information is available in the provided text. Instead, the emphasis from the customer feedback is on significant issues encountered at the clinic. Therefore, in the interest of providing an objective introduction based on the available information, it is crucial to highlight the serious allegations and negative experiences reported by these reviewers.

Local users considering Animal Hospital Randolph are strongly advised to take the provided feedback into account, conduct their own due diligence, and potentially seek second opinions regarding treatment plans, especially those involving multiple vaccinations or surgical procedures. The reviews paint a concerning picture that deviates significantly from the positive experiences one would typically hope for at a Pet Hospital.

In summary, while Animal Hospital Randolph is listed as a Pet Hospital at 1435 Zoo Pkwy, Asheboro, NC, the recent customer reviews present serious allegations regarding their policies, practices, and the level of care provided. These include concerns about mandatory simultaneous vaccinations, the handling of pets during procedures, and a perceived lack of compassion. Potential clients should be aware of these accounts when considering veterinary services for their pets at this location. For further information or to address these concerns, you can contact them directly at (336) 625-6822 or +1 336-625-6822.

Have been taking my dogs to Randolph Animal Hospital for 40 years. This morning I am looking for another veterinarian! For 40 years I have taken my dogs in for checkups and vaccinations, have stayed in the exam room with them and had mostly good experiences. Today I was put in an exam room and my dog was taken by a tech to another exam room where they apparently attempted to hold him down and draw blood, then proceeded to come back and tell me they were unsuccessful. This Labrador has never had that problem with me in the room. Furthermore, they apparently have no idea someone sitting in an exam room can hear the discussion of the guys in the back and the unprofessional conversations! They had one very caring and trustworthy doctor but she is apparently gone. All caring and compassion for pets has left this place. It's just a money grab now! I don't know where else to go, but find somewhere!!!

I took in a feral cat no one else wanted, although he is very friendly. He had an infection and other concerns. My Grumpy Cat 馃樉 is free of infection, 2md round of shots this week, then we plan some extraction of some teeth that are damaged and a neuter visit. 馃か. The staff is friendly, efficient, and professional.

Every single staff member here is amazing. They have taken care of my dog for over 12 years. Absolutely the most compassionate veterinarians ever. Highly recommend.

The front desk staff are efficient and friendly. The techs and assistants are skilled, knowledgeable, and compassionate. And the vets are great! I'd like to thank the entire team. My cats are healthier and happier for your kind attention to them.
