I wanted to give these people a 0 review. They are a poor excuse for an emergency vet hospital. I had adopted a cat in Branson and then stupidly agreed to foster 2 kittens. One of the kittens threw up and when I went to clean it up there was things moving in it. I had never seen this before and I have a phobia and I went into full panic. I took all the cats and drove 1.5 hours (approx. 70 miles) in anxiety mode to the hospital because it was a Sunday night and I couldn't wait till the next day. I got there at approximately 7 p.m. and their their biggest concern was getting my signature that I would need to pay emergency fees for all 4 cats. I had brought them all because I didn't really know if they would treat all of them without seeing them and since I had just moved here I didn't yet have a vet that I could go to mention my fears. When you suffer as I do with this phobia, I'd have agreed to anything. They told me I'd have to wait probably 2-3 hours. There was only one other couple there when I got there and more came in while I was in the lobby. They ended up seeing everyone else before me and I was the last to be seen which was close to midnight. When I left the parking lot was empty. They showed me to a room that I sat in for hours and then the kitten started pooping all over the carrier all over the place and they had no towels or garbage. You have to figure the last time they'd gone to the box was before 5:00 p.m. and it was now almost midnight. I essentially almost had a melt down but kept myself together and didn't complain. When someone did see them, I don't they any of them were actually examined except visually and I guess it was a vet played with them with her finger while they were in the carrier. Then they wanted to run blood work on my resident cat and I asked why but the attendant couldn't tell me but I figured they are the experts and agreed to it. They sent me home with meds to treat upset stomach and a syringe for each of them with a dewormer with to follow up with a vet in 2 weeks. When I followed up with a vet, I brought the paper work with me so he would know the exact prior diagnosis but to my dismay, he was instantly horrified by the bill. He examined the kittens and informed me that they never examined the kittens as they had a severe ear mites infection (asked me if I wanted to look - are you kidding). This kind vet not only examined the kittens but removed the mites which I believe he said they would have seen them if they had actually examined the animals. They were all put on fluids even though only 1 threw up. His face should disbelief and he said "all of them got fluids for one of them throwing up once". Also, my resident cat is not sick and does not associate with the new cats and her full panel came back as normal, I still have no idea why it was done at all. The only thing I can assume is that they tested the wrong animal (so much for the emergency fee i had to pay for all of them. The bill was over $800 and as a senior i was blown away but I didn't complain and paid the bill. The follow up vet bill was only $400 and that included a full exam on the 2 kittens and 6 months of Nexgard Combo for all cats. I feel totally victimized and swindled by these crooks because I also explained that I have this phobia condition. The fact that they let me take these kittens home that were full of ear mites when they sleep on top on "my bed" is a disgrace that I can never ever forgive them. I find it reprehensible and egregious treatment and unnecessary procedures performed on all of the animals (fluids as well as the full panel on the wrong cat) is nothing short of fraudulent service. These people should be ashamed of themselves not only for their unprofessional process. I can clearly see now that it was not a caring practice but a mill to extort money out of people who love their pets. But that's the price you pay for a corporate run facility. The follow up vet said I could use his name when I complain but I won't post it here. I welcome their response.

Mar 31, 2025 · Irene HadharThese people are trash, when I needed help for my beloved dog they charged me $650 that I did not have, and my dog died the next day. They did nothing to help her. The poor little thing slowly passed away in my arms after the so called treatment they gave her. I got nothing but cold responses from these rotten people as I begged them to tell me what to do. If you are going to be a vet than you should actually care for and about the animals you treat.
