Dec 15, 2024 · Wendy LarzelereAlways a good experience at the Animal Hospital of Worthington. Staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. Every tech and every vet we've seen there is great with our dogs. They make sure we are well-informed about any issues that come up, and about any meds or treatments we need to administer at home. They're also very good about calling to make sure our dogs are doing well after any procedures - for example, dental cleanings. 5 out of 5 stars!
Apr 04, 2025 · Carol EdwardsThis sweet girl will not let anyone near her toenails! Dr. Elzein and our tech (sorry, I need to learn your name!) did a great job of sedating her and giving her a pedicure. They were so sweet and gentle with her.
Jan 10, 2025 · kathy kesslerI’ve been taking my dogs to Worthington Animal Hospital for several years and have always been on their Paw Plan, paying around $180 per month for my two dogs. While the plan covers annual vaccines, routine exams, and a dental cleaning, it also feels like they push you into it because their standard prices are so high. Last year, I lost my job and fell two months behind on payments. Once I got back on track and paid what I owed, they allowed me to continue the plan. Fast forward another year, and my identity was stolen, which prevented February’s payment from going through. When I showed up for my March appointment, I was happy to pay the missing amount immediately. However, they told me I was no longer eligible for the Paw Plan unless I paid an entire year upfront—roughly $2,000. I understand the need for policies, but this level of inflexibility shows a lack of empathy for customers who experience real-life financial hardships. I had proven my willingness to make up payments in the past, yet they refused to work with me this time. Their pricing structure already makes it difficult for many pet owners to afford care without the Paw Plan, and this experience made it clear that their priority is money over long-term clients. I will be taking my business elsewhere to a vet that understands the realities of pet ownership and financial struggles. If you're looking for a compassionate and flexible vet, I’d suggest considering other options.
