My baby Leo was super sick even after getting some medicine at his regular vet. I called here hoping they may be able to help him as he was looking so miserable. They took him in right when they were about to close. Dr. Richmond immediately could tell he had an obstruction in his belly. They took Leo back to give him fluids and medicine. The next day they let us visit, showed us the obstruction in his x-ray, and didn’t rush us at all to leave. The entire staff has been compassionate and I can tell they truly love animals. I am forever grateful that they helped my boy. This place cares about your babies not your money. I know Leo is recovering in good hands. Thank you all at Animal Hospital of Whitfield. I am so so thankful forever.

There are not enough words to express how much my family loves AHWC. Dr. Richmond and Dr. Megan are the best. We have seen Dr. Richmond for years now and recently had to take one of our dogs in after he ate rocks and Dr. Megan was the only one there and had to do surgery on him, and we immediately grew to love her, as well!! Last week we had to put our other older dog down with Dr. Richmond, and the care and compassion that everyone showed in the office was so comforting. From the front desk staff, to the techs, to the docs, everyone is so kind and welcoming. The docs are very informative, open and honest with you about your pets, as well as very thorough about finding out what is going on with a sick animal. I couldn't imagine taking my animals anywhere else. You definitely are not going to get this kind of care anywhere else! If you don't live in the area and are considering taking your pets here, anyways, DO IT! You truly will not regret bringing your fur babies here!

We have been using these vet services for several years, and we have no complaints! When our dog, Max, had a skin reaction to SOMETHING - we still don't know what it was - the vet prescribed steroids, which is standard...but Max had a reaction to that, too! It was awful. He was literally hallucinating. They saw him again very quickly and gave him different meds which did the trick. We also use this vet service for Max's annual checkup. They are kind, caring, and love all the pets who bless their days.
