Animal Hospital of West Port Saint Lucie

My sweet little pup was very sick. I called and was able to get an appointment quickly. The receptionist was very comforting and made me feel welcome from the start. The staff is very caring and professional. It was an expensive visit but probably not unreasonably so. I am very new to Florida and received a referral from a new friend for which I am grateful. I will be staying with them for the care of my sweet pup and will be recommending to my family for the care of their three dogs.

The staff is friendly. They care about your pet. When my dog was having a problem, they continuously called to see how she was doing. I highly recommend this vet. I am grateful for the care they have shown every time I took Zoe.

At the animal hospital every one is so nice and polite. And o take my 7 Pittbull mix and wen he turned five I noticed he was loosing his hair he was just miserable but o doing he has a fungus and skin issue but thanks to them my boy is feeling better and Mrs. Lori helped me out and Me and blue want to say thank you

I rushed my dog into the vet for an ear infection (freaking out) with no appointment. They saw my dog right away. They calmed me down. They were patient with me, and took time to answer all my questions. They treated us like family in our time of need. I will be forever grateful. We will never go anywhere else. ❤️❤️

I would like to say how wonderful Animal Hospital of West Port Saint Lucie was. On Saturday night, Kitty (Whiskey) was under the weather and by Sunday she was constantly in and out of the Litter Box with a UTI. I rushed to the local Pet Shop for some over the counter help which did not work. Monday morning, I called and was able to get her a 9:20 Appointment. I rushed to the pet store for a carrier, and they opened at 9AM, then rushed home and grabbed her for the trip to the Hospital. She was super scared. We entered the hospital and was quickly led to the exam room in which Whiskey was let out of the carrier and felt more at ease. She was examined and Antibiotics were administered as well as cultures taken. We went home and, in a few days, she seemed back to normal and healthy again. Upon follow up there was an additional bacterium in her that the antibiotics was not going to help and she needed additional medication which I now have. Dr Schmidt was so super nice and caring, and you could tell she truly was an animal lover from the Kitties that lived at the Animal Clinic, to the many dogs coming in, to the little squirrel in the waiting area. I felt so comfortable that Whiskey received the help she needed from such a knowledgeable staff. I would tell anyone who has an animal in need of caring assistance, this is the place to be.
