They’ve been caring for my babies for about 5 yrs now. I have extra large mastiffs (190 lbs) and they handle them very well. They also are great with cats! I have boarded my babies with them from about 7 yrs old to my newest English Mastiff at 5 mos old and the staff is wonderful!! They truly care for our babies and have even gone out of their way to help multiple times with my 5 mo old to get her into the office, console her, and try to calm l her fear of the vet. Have seen multiple docs there and all of them are great. Highly recommend them.

Feb 08, 2025 · Nurse DenniseFrom calling in for the very first appointment to the appointment itself, everyone was very helpful and friendly. You can tell that they really do care about your pets as well as the owners. The vet took the time to answer all of our questions and even some we didn't think of at the time. The outside of the building was very clean and neat as well as everywhere inside was very clean and did not smell of pet urine or feces. We are definitely looking forward to starting our relationship with Animal Hospital of Statesville.
Mar 27, 2025 · Kathy AshleyI love the people here and how they take care of my babies. We have a Lab, a Belgian Shepherd, a German Shepherd, and a Blue heeler . All of them get well care for when they go to see the vet and when they get baths. They take care of them very well when we have gone out of town. And most of all they do a very good job when my Oscar crosses the rainbow bridge. I love animal hospital of Statesville. They are the best in town.
May 17, 2024 · shannon whiteI drive over an hour to get to AHS for my eight fur babies. First of all, I love the people there, so kind and supportive. Having been a pet parent of many fur babies for over three decades, and having been to so many vet clinics and hospitals in different states, I can tell that AHS is a genuinely great place. I also love that they have the availability for emergency appointments, since switching to AHS in July 2024, we have been accommodated two emergency visits already: One for my pregnant Chihuahua and the other for my 21 year old cat. I called in the morning and we were fortunate to have been seen on the same day within a few hours. What a difference it makes! I used to call around clinics worried and stressed asking to see if any clinic could squeeze us into their already booked day. We had a primary clinic that we went for four years since moving to Charlotte, they seldom had any openings for emergencies. Totally understand they have to make ends meet so no complaints, it’s just great at AHS we have higher chances of being seen when we really need to and that’s with the familiar staff and doctors at the facility we know. Animal lovers would appreciate this as we have experienced going to an urgent care clinic with a sick buddy, we would be very worried and having to wait for many hours and not knowing anyone there would give us compounded anxiety and stress. Yes, it’s a long drive for me/my animal family, but I am very happy with the caring people, the services they offer, and of course the quality of medical care we have received.
Dec 14, 2024 · momoffy1Summary: -Ariel is fantastic (front desk). Kind, soft spoken, patient!! -I haven’t went to my appointment yet but will update the full experience after I do! -$40 for check-up, $15 for rabies (approx. and + tax)… GREAT price. -Saturday appointments!! -oh anddd, it only took 2 rings for Ariel to answer!!!! Detailed review: I recently moved to Texas and needed to find a vet ASAP since I’m flying out of state at the end of the month. I wanted to get sedatives for my puppy and make sure her vaccines were current, but since I haven’t established care with a vet here yet, I was kind of scrambling. A friend recommended this place, and so far, the experience has been great. I haven’t had my actual appointment yet (I’ll update after), but I had to share how amazing the scheduling process was. I called in for a last-minute appointment and spoke with Ariel—she was incredible. Honestly, some of the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. She was kind, calm, and answered every one of my (many) questions without hesitation or judgment. Everything felt clear and professional from the jump. I was also relieved to find out they offer Saturday appointments. I work Monday through Friday, so that flexibility is huge for me. Ariel told me the check-in fee is $40 and the rabies vaccine is about $15—super reasonable pricing, which makes it easier to stay on top of my pup’s care. Feeling a lot better going into this trip now.
