We will never go here again. Completely overstepped boundaries with my puppy. A nurse secretly fed my puppy cheese in the back room without my consent or knowledge. She is not allowed to have anything but her kibble, you would think that people who work at the vet know better than to feed a sensitive puppy such things. Especially not without the owner’s permission. My puppy started throwing up after the visit. Said nurse acted like I was overreacting and didn’t seem to understand why I was upset over this. In addition to that, I had countless staff members hover over my not fully vaccinated pup, getting her way too hyper, while I was trying to teach her to stay collected. Read the room please. I understand puppies are cute, people want to pet them and make the vet visit as fun as possible. Though, this can absolutely be achieved in a calm manner. They then sent a nurse out to interrogate me about my background with dogs and report back to her colleagues… After, the front desk staff passive-aggressively informed me that she added a note to our file: “do not pet, do not feed”. I am okay with everything in an appropriate manner, these people are just way too comfortable with deciding over other people’s pets. As I read in other reviews, the unnecessary upcharging and money hunger is real. I don’t need to touch on it, there are plenty of other reviews.

Nicole gave us great advice over the phone on how to remedy our cats little cold. I've heard of vets price gouging and trying to get people to come in over nothing. Because they were so honest and helpful, they have earned a client for as long as we are in the area. As our little one is getting older, I am sure we'll visit them soon regardless, for a check up. Thank you Nicole, and I hope more vets follow your lead in pet care!

Our dog recently suffered a serious medical emergency resulting in hospitalization. It was a scary experience but Dr Androski made it all seem manageable as she talked us thru the potential scenarios and helped us make decisions about our dog's care. We felt informed and supported and appreciated her genuine concern for our dog. Though we'll need to manage her condition for the rest of her lifetime, our dog seems to have made a full recovery and we are very thankful for the care she received at AHOF.

My pup always gets wonderful care from his Dr and the vet techs. From The friendly welcome when we enter and everyone there knows my dog and his needs without having to review details every time it’s refreshing to feel like he is always safe and well cared for each visit.

My pet Cream suddenly passed away. Although she was older, we were not quite ready to let her go. We are still grieving, and today, my kids cry their hearts out over the handwritten letter you sent. I am not sure how you knew Cream died, but I think it means that you have been periodically tracking and caring about the status of all the pets. I appreciate your thorough and compassionate management.
