Our first time coming to this vet. We were able to easily get a quick appointment for a rabies vaccine for our dog. The tech was super friendly and helpful. The vet , Dr. Blevins, was extremely helpful with Information we needed. He also was so kind and gentle with our baby (dog) . When your pet gets a rabies vaccine in Ashe you are given a rabies tag for them by that facility that day. We were so happy to find this out, as other counties make you go to a second location for an additional price for this. My ONE NEGATIVE is that they aren't accepting new patients :( Only for a rabies vaccine.

We were out of town at Oak Island, NC when our Golden Retriever, Abby developed diarrhea. We put her on chicken and rice for 3 days without improvement. On Tuesday morning I called Ashe Animal Hospital where Abby is a patient. They asked some questions, and I told them her condition. The receptionist said she would talk with the doctor and call me back. Within 15 minutes, she called back and said Dr. Hampton would call in medication to the drugstore! We have been giving Abby the medication, and she has improved! Thank you for making the remainder of our beach vacation great!
