Buddy Bruce has always delivered excellent care for my pets. He has always been available when I needed him the most. I highly recommend Dr. Bruce for all of your pet's health care needs. Attached are pictures of my recent visit at his office.

This is the WORST veterinary ever. They never treated my dog for what he actually needed. We have spent thousands of dollars with this vet, just for us to finally get a second opinion from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine (who were great btw), to us having to put our dog down today. If you love your pets, don’t take them to Animal Health Center.

I do not recommend this place at all. First off, the front desk staff is rude. Second, Dr. Bruce has horrible bedside manner...for a veterinarian. My cat was neutered, 2 days later he wasn't eating or drinking and was throwing up. Took him back on Monday when they opened the weekend and they just gave him something for nausea and set my fur baby home. Tuesday he was still not eating or drinking and still throwing up, we were in the middle of a winter storm and the office closed early. We called the next day and they didn't open til 1, took our baby in and was told they wanted to keep him overnight. The next day i heard nothing. Called and they said they syringe fed him....which is what we told him we were doing and he wasn't keeping it down. Started reading reviews and decided to go get my baby because it was almost closing time and I still had not gotten any updates. I went and told the front desk I was there to get pet. She comes back and says she's gonna put me in a room and the vet will be in to talk to me. Vet came in, without my baby and proceeded to tell me they gave him the same nausea medicine they that had already given him once...and he threw up so they gave him a different one. He said he may have an obstruction and wants to keep him another night at no charge and take an xray.....WHY HAS AN XRAY NOT ALREADY BEEN DONE?? My cat hasn't kept a meal down in 4 days.....I demanded my pet back and I'm taking him elsewhere. My cat was thirsty when he got home. I'll never recommend this place.

Recently, my 2-year-old parrot (Sunny) was attacked by a neighborhood cat. It was a miracle that she was able to escape while only suffering a sprain to her right foot as well as a subcutaneous laceration in the middle of her back. At the time, I couldn’t tell how deep the wound was/thought it might be a puncture but knew I needed to get her help so I did a Maps search & picked this clinic. The following day, I traveled with her & my mom to Animal Health Center where we were greeted with kind, open arms curbside service. They took her inside for 10 mins while we waited in the car and then Dr. Bruce came out & said, “You all were very very lucky but she’s going to be completely fine.” I had been crying since the incident but for the 1st time, these were tears of joy. He gave us an anti-bacterial spray for her wound & antibiotics to put in her water. I would have paid thousands for someone to see her stat but at $129, I knew I’d won the lottery. It’s been a little over 2 weeks since and her leg is fully healed, the skin on her back is starting to cover her “meat” & new quills are coming in. The 24 hrs of trauma that we had to endure was rough but I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Dr. Bruce & his staff are some of the most wonderful people this side of the planet. If you’re looking for a vet that will take care of your avian or animal needs, don’t think twice as you’ve found him. Once again, Thank You!! 👨‍⚕️🥹🐥

Brought my dog to this veterinary hospital as an emergency. My dog had a double seizure back-to-back. Staff was very polite, Caring and respectful The veterinarian Doctor and his staff were very knowledgeable. They cared in helping my dog, And for that, I highly appreciate them. You're the best, thank you. I will be recommending my friends and family to them
