Animal Health Care Denver

I have been client of Animal Health Care Denver for quite a number of years, both bringing my own pets in for care as well as a fair number of foster dogs and cats. I absolutely appreciate the genuine interest and knowledge of both staff and the resident vets. They are incredibly caring and the time spent with my pets never feels rushed. They are always so kind to explain each step of any procedure, and exhibit a genuine affection for every single animal that I have brought in. Making appointments is generally easy, and questions/requests typically get a response within a day! I have often recommended AHCD to friends looking for a vet for their new furry family members!

I am a former specialty vet tech and since leaving the field really struggled with finding a practice I was happy with. Thankfully we found AHCD. We have been going here for several years and have really appreciated the small practice attention our pets get. Judy at the front desk is a treasure. The techs, assistants, and vets all know our pets and give great, evidence-based care. Reasonable prices, generally quick to get the pets in For visits. My sweet girl had a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy last week. They took great care of her, and they came in under their initial quote. My senior dog had dental surgery that he's recovered from really well, and they came in around the middle of their estimate for him. They don't strike me as the kind of office to gouge their patients' owners. While I didn't go anywhere for 2nd or 3rd opinions or quotes, quick searching found that their costs are competitive within their industry. I never worried for my dogs' safety with AHC. One of my dogs is very anxious, so I expected him to be terrified to go back after his dental surgery. On the contrary, I think he was excited to go say hi! Additionally, they were great at answering all my questions, keeping in touch about scheduling, and updating me on both of their surgeries. Awesome place. I expect they'll guide me and my girl through the TPLO recovery quite well.

By far my favorite vet clinic, I have taken Dexter to over half a dozen different veterinarians over the years to try and find a good vet, this is the place! I love the technology and imaging they use Dr Catherine Sayer is amazing ! Dr Zachary Scott is very nice vet too!

The team at AHCD is just top-notch and so very caring, both for our pets as well as their owners. Our chihuahua went through cancer and only the last two weeks were hard for her because of the efforts of this team, who coordinated her care with outside specialists and inside love. The practice's animal dental work is second to none. If you have pets, Animal Health Care Denver is the practice where you want your loved ones cared for.
