I adopted a senior kitty with eye issues last year. My regular vet has tried many things, but she still keeps her eyes closed mostly and squints a lot. I took her to Dr Evans in December and Dr Evans has been absolutely wonderful in trying different things to get this issue resolved. It is a work in progress but I appreciate when I call with my update every couple weeks that TJ, the receptionist, always goes back and talks with Dr Evans and I get immediate feedback from Dr Evans. My kitty may have dry eyes the rest of her life, which I knew may happen, due to the herpes virus, but we have a great team trying to ease any pain she might be experiencing in her eyes.

Feb 21, 2025 · Jennifer CSo grateful for the care from the team here. Our young German Shorthair Pointer is an extremely bouncy dog and has newfound nervousness at the vet’s office. Dr Evans was soooo incredibly patient with our wild little thing. At the first visit she didn’t pressure our dog and waited until she calmed down (and eventually was sitting in her lap) to examine her eye. Her patience paid off and she was able to use a large tool for the exam without sedation or drama. The issue turned out to be something relatively simple and we came back the next week for a procedure that was equally stress free for our anxious pup. She had no problems healing quickly post-procedure and the office called to check in. So so glad to have come here and thankful for Dr Evans and staff - we wish they could be our regular vet! Highly recommend.

Oct 06, 2024 · IsmaelEveryone was so kind. The surgery went well. I took 1 star because of the cost. An office visit was over $135. My vet is $39. They charged like $50 (I'm not positive it could have been 40) To touch this little thing to her eye. I think that should be included in the $135 office visit charge. It wasn't doen by the vet and it's not like it was something that had to be sent out or looked at it's a very small hand held device even if the device was expensive that doesn't justify that charge. They charged for test slip too that looked no different then what I use for my pool I'm sure they are but again overcharged and should really be part of the office visit. The pricing is the reason so many dogs, cats.. Don't get what they need. families can't spend more for a dogs office visit then for thier own.
