I can't thank Dr. Salisbury, Leslie and the entire staff at Animal Eye Care enough for the OUTSTANDING care that they provided Douglas Patrick while we had him. We had struggled with several eye issues due to neglect in his previous life. Our local veterinarian just wasn’t working well with this issue. Dr. Salisbury was recommended to us and she literally was a miracle for us, diagnosing him properly immediately, starting him on an eye treatment schedule that gave him a great quality of life for the 23 months that we had him. We can't thank them enough and I highly suggest Animal Eye Care for any patient who struggles with their eyes. We now trust them with our newest rescue Vivian. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service provided by the dog eye specialist office, particularly with my experience dealing with Leslie. On multiple occasions, my appointments were canceled, and each time it seemed to revolve around questioning my ability to pay. Not only was I limited to paying in cash, but when I inquired about the consultation fee of $195, I received vague responses likening it to a standard eye doctor visit without any specifics. Furthermore, instead of addressing my concerns, Leslie accused me of sounding skeptical. Throughout my interactions, there was a persistent emphasis on the expected cost of the visit, with repeated mentions that I should anticipate paying $400-$500. When I sought clarification on this matter and expressed my desire to consult with the doctor before committing financially, it was met with resistance from the office. The receptionist even went so far as to imply that the distance I traveled was an inconvenience, despite the office being only a short 10-minute drive away. Overall, I felt unwelcome and dismissed as a new client. It was evident that the primary focus was on extracting as much money as possible from clients, rather than providing compassionate care. Given their monopoly as the sole dog eye specialist in Florida, this behavior is particularly concerning. I would strongly advise anyone seeking veterinary eye care to explore alternative options.
