I will forever be grateful for this place and the amazing people in it. We have been bringing Oscar, our Great Dane mix, here since mid-March, when we came in on a Sunday morning through the emergency service. He had been undergoing treatment for another issue at another practice, and over the weekend became critically ill. We arrived with him and he was immediately brought back for evaluation and triage. The staff is comforting and keeps you updated with progress and news, and though it felt like forever (because we were so anxious about what was wrong) they had a diagnosis and a plan forward very efficiently and quickly given they were incredibly busy with many emergencies. Oscar was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease and we were told he was in Addisonian Crisis. His lab work was critically abnormal. This group literally saved his life, and he walked out of the hospital 3 days later 🩷 We have had the opportunity to do follow-ups quite regularly here with the internal medicine service so that Oscar’s labs can be followed and his medications adjusted accordingly. They run like a well-oiled machine every single time. Oscar is comfortable here, he walks in and lays down next to me while we wait for them to come take him for his labs, and everyone is just incredibly warm and friendly to both him and to us. We wouldn’t have our sweet boy today if it hadn’t been for this place. My soul dog is still with me because of them. And thank you is just not enough.

My little Maltese was bit by a coyote last Monday at 10:30 pm, on the neck twice. It tore about 3" of skin from his neck. I called the vet, and they were great. They told me to bring him now. When I got there, the staff was so very friendly. They took Kurby straight back to the Dr without hesitation. Kurby had to have surgery right then. They didn't waste any time doing this. They literally saved my Kurbys life. Between the treatment and surgery, the bill was very reasonable. I owe them everything for how quickly they did what they needed to do. I won't bring my 3 babies anywhere else. It has been exactly 7 days since that night. Kurby is starting to hold his neck up on his own. The first few days he refused to go outside without one of us, and then he just walked the wall of the house to get to where he wanted. Kurby was definitly traumatized. Now, the 2 drain tubes and stitches have been removed. The swelling and brusing are going down quickly. Hes eating and drinking on his own. Kurby has a little ways to go for a complete recovery but he is doing it at the age of 14 yrs. If it wasnt for this Emergency Vet and all that everyone did, i probally would have had to bury him. He gets better everyday and stronger. Thank you so very much Animal Emergency & Specialty. You all are great even though I was a nervous wreck.

We came in on a Saturday afternoon with our sweet old girl Lucy. We were afraid it was time and it turned out it was. Everyone was SO compassionate and took care of our “puppy” (as I would always call her) and gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. I would highly recommend coming here for a pet emergency. The cost was completely comparable to anyone else. It really was half of what I thought it would be. Realistically speaking, going anywhere on the weekend or after hours is going to cost extra. This is what I expected and prepared for a big bill which didn’t come. On a final note, we just appreciated the compassion we received and will definitely keep them in mind if the need ever arises again.

I called before hand and explained what was happening with my cat. They treated my kitty like a priority and helped her immediately upon us arriving. This is my second time bringing one of my fur babies in for an emergency and they have our loyalty and our hearts with the care they provide.

Our dog got hit by a car and they took such amazing care of our girl. They kept us updated on everything that was going on and allowed us to visit her each night. Very thankful for all the knowledgable staff. We cannot recommend them enough.
