Brought my girl in after she had a seizure. Everyone was wonderful. The doctor was kind and explained everything thoroughly and allowed me time to make decisions and ask more questions. The techs let me see where she would spend the night and made her cage comfy for her, which made me feel better about leaving her overnight. They sent me pics late in the evening to assure me she was doing well, received updates after her tests, and again first thing in the morning. When I picked her up Michele was thorough in explaining again, everything they did, what to expect, and how to follow up. I am very satisfied with the care they gave my girl. I only gave them 4 stars because of how pricey every thing is. Made me sad to think of people who truly don't have that kind of $ to pay. Despite the cost, the great care taken with my girl was worth it.

Mar 25, 2025 · LoriSo my dog had swelling on the right side of his face from his nose to his eye. I was very concerned because I had never seen anything like that before. Since it was later in the evening I went to Animal Emergency Services because they are located really close to my home and they are open 24 hours a day. I walked in and explained to the ladies at the front desk what the issue was and “Buddy” went straight to the back immediately to be looked at by a Veterinarian. I knew right away that we were both in good hands because “Buddy” got the caring treatment and medication that he needed, and I was kept up to date with information on what was going on the entire time. They didn’t try to force me to do anything unnecessarily or without my consent. I highly recommend Animal Emergency Services and will definitely recommend them to my family and friends in the future. Thank you to everyone who helped “Buddy” on his road to recovery!!!
Mar 11, 2025 · Jim McBrideIt was time for my girl to cross the rainbow. My vet couldn’t help in time so I went to the ER. All the staff were so compassionate, caring and patient it made a really heartbreaking experience just a little easier. I would highly recommend for pet owners no matter what the emergency to go there for treatment of your pet family. They even sent a condolence card which was not needed or expected but so appreciated.
Dec 27, 2024 · Moif you are planning on bringing your pet here please think twice !! they did a horrible job at explaining what was going on throughout the time i was there , made it seem like they had already gave my dog an x-ray , and started procedures when they in fact did not . the bill came out to about 1400-1500 which is insanely unreasonable for anyone who doesn’t have an exactly stable/good financial condition and also just unreasonable for anyone in the world we’re living in right now & even more unreasonable for the fact that my dog simply had a red mark on her lip which seemed like an insect bite & they wanted to sedate her and do a lot more of that while failing to keep me and my mom updated on what was going on & they were keeping our dog while we were under the impression that she was having x-rays done and all of that. i do not recommend this place at all unless your okay with the amount of money they charge and okay with all of the other things i explained.
May 14, 2025 · alysI called to bring my cat in when she was suddenly in respiratory distress. Most of the front desk staff were very supportive and patient with me. The vet herself was also very supportive and explained everything that was going on, the immediate interventions and testing that they suggest as soon as she stabilized my cat. A tech also came out to give me updates and was very supportive/ kind as well. When it was time for discharge, I received a folder containing all of the test results, labs, etc. and medication to give her for a week. Everything was thoroughly explained and written. They also sent a report to her Vet and followed up with us the following day as well as saying if I had any questions, I could call anytime - open 24h. Overall, considering it was an emergency situation, they made a terrible situation a little less stressful with a lot of compassion and professionalism from almost all who interacted with me. I would recommend AES for anyone with a pet requiring emergency care.
