NEVER TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS PLACE! YOU WILL PAY MORE than what was told! Long story short, he doesn't even know what he is doing. Why you ask? Because he contradicted himself on my dogs problems. He went from possible bran damage, because my dogs blood was dark, to being poisoned. He gave her oxygen therapy for 2 hours, to labs that shows that her liver, heart, kidneys was all high.o, and a basic exam. Come on now, the liver? I took my dog to a reputable Vet within a month ago. He ran labs on my dog and NEVER said that her liver was even close to being high. He prescribe holistic medicine to my dog. The Only good he did is give my dog O2. That is it. I thought it was going to be around 200. O, hell no! Try 480 dollars. And my dog still looks like what she is when I took her in. She couldn't walk on her own power. I'm not going to give the medications he gave me to give to her. I hope that my dog doesn't end up like the other people reviews on this place. The next few hours will tell. Hopefully, this issue isn't bad and I can take her to her real vet. I just wish I read the reviews before taking my dog.

Animal Emergency Center Introduce

For urgent pet medical needs in Louisville, Kentucky, the Animal Emergency Center, located at 3321 Red Roof Inn Pl (phone: (502) 456-6102 or mobile: +1 502-456-6102), operates as a "Pet Hospital" specializing in emergency care. Online reviews offer contrasting perspectives on the services provided.

One pet owner shared a highly negative experience, expressing concerns about the cost exceeding the initial estimate and questioning the veterinarian's diagnostic abilities. This reviewer cited what they perceived as contradictory diagnoses and felt that the treatment provided (oxygen therapy and holistic medicine) was insufficient, especially given the final bill. They strongly advised others to avoid this facility and regretted not reading reviews beforehand.

Conversely, another pet owner recounted a positive experience during a middle-of-the-night emergency requiring bladder surgery for their Chihuahua. They praised Dr. Tran and the nurse for their immediate attention, care, and compassion. This reviewer found Dr. Tran to be informative and appreciated his direct communication regarding their pet's care, as well as his holistic approach to aftercare. They also noted the clinic's cleanliness and the staff's overall excellence.

These contrasting reviews suggest that while Animal Emergency Center may provide critical care during urgent situations, experiences can vary. One customer lauded the compassionate and efficient emergency response, particularly highlighting Dr. Tran's expertise and holistic approach. However, another raised serious concerns about diagnostic accuracy, treatment effectiveness, and unexpected costs. As an emergency facility, their services are likely focused on immediate and critical care needs outside of regular veterinary hours. Given the mixed feedback, local users facing a pet emergency may need to weigh these experiences and consider seeking a second opinion from their regular veterinarian if the situation allows after the initial emergency stabilization.

You never know when you will face a medical emergency with one of your pets. When I was faced with one with my 12 year old Chihuahua that needed bladder surgery in the middle of the night this is where I took her. When I arrived with my pet dr Tran and nurse were waiting at the door. They took her right in treated her with so much care and compassion. A few hours later we were on our way to the road of recovery. Dr Tran is very informative and he won’t beat around the bush when it comes to your pets care. He’s also a holistic vet my pets after care was natural medicine and I really like that. Plus my chihuahua loves him coming from her that says a lot. Clinic is clean and sanitary staff is amazing all the way around

Brought my Aussie in here who was having difficulty breathing. She has a new mass on her neck that was restricting her airway. Other than give her oxygen and LASIK, nothing was done. She died less than 2 hours of being home. I spent $500 on an emergency vet to basically keep her comfortable enough to die-im a firm believer a different vet could have helped her. We drove over an hour away and stayed in the clinic for over 2 hours until they closed. All that work on my end and she still died even after asking the Dr to do more. All the got a shot and a shave. NOT happy!

DO NOT GO HERE Does not do any type of testing on your animal to see what is wrong only guesses. If I wouldn’t of left here in immediately took in my cat to another emergency room it would have died immediately. This doctor also does not sanitize, and the medicine he gave my cat was for horses. If you come here, your animal die. He told me my cat had an asthma, and my cat was dying of heart failure.

This vet office has saved us more then a few times when emergencies do happen. Unexpectedly. We can count on dr. Tran to be open after hours when our family vet is closed.
