I had to bring in my 10 year old pit Bull Sweetie around 1am as she had a bigger seizure with foaming at the mouth. The staff brought her in and started working on her right away when we arrived. She had to stay overnight to get stabilized and be seizure free for 12 hours before being released. Through that time, they sent pictures and opened a text line where you could contact them directly at any time. The Vet explained it was most likely from a brain tumor since she never had seizures before, her age, and her blood work came back normal as well. She reviewed all of our options from there with us and gave her professional opinion on what we should do next. When they released, they went over her medicines and reviewed all steps to take in different scenarios. After 72 hours of her being home, they emailed me asking how she was doing and reminded me that I can call or email at any time if any concerns or questions came up. They were truly awesome during this pretty scary event and were very supportive. They were kind, thoughtful, acted with urgency, and supported us/reassured us through every step. In addition, they were very transparent with all costs. Highly recommend them for your pet’s emergency!!

Feb 07, 2025 · Shanna MartinI brought my dog in for a potential bowel obstruction. They offered to keep him over night for monitoring or I could monitor from home. I chose to keep him there overnight and I’m thankful I did. They took great care of him and by morning deemed he needed an emergency surgery. They allowed me to come in and visit with him while they prepped the OR. They had him into surgery almost immediately. As this was his second bowel obstruction surgery, the risks were higher. I was a nervous wreck, and Dr. Faith was truly phenomenal. She answered all my questions, kept me calm, and shared her mutual love for pugs- which instantly made me feel better. Her communication was beyond thorough and as immediate as possible (through their texting system). He is recovering amazingly from his surgery I am beyond grateful for my experience here and especially with Dr. Faith!
Feb 03, 2025 · Courtney Van Osash was brought to this ER with symptoms of uncontrolled vomiting. ill try to keep the story short but basically he had a blockage in his stomach and this ER vet worked with me and my normal vet to have his surgery there so it could be 2k cheaper. that was very kind of them. every person i talked to was very kind and understanding. ash didnt do well in recovery after surgery as his body was already damaged by the blockage of hair that was inside of him (if your dogs lick the carpet i recommend vacuuming frequantly) they tried very hard for him and me to save him. right when i was out of funds he took a turn for the worst and had to be put down. ive only had 1 dog put down before and i have to say the process was tramatizing but they did everything they could to limit the trauma. even allowing us to put him down in his own bed. most people would maybe be mad at them for how this ended but they really truly did the best. shout out to great lakes animal hospital for taking ash in after hours to try to save him. thank you.
Feb 03, 2025 · DeerweedMy dog was brought and needed urgent care. Their staff, there was nothing less than amazing! They were so compassionate and kind hearted. They took very good care of my dog. Their facility is beautiful and welcoming, with complimentary water and coffee. The aftercare calls and messages inquiring about how our pet was doing was just spectacular. We’ve had to make a couple calls to them since returning home and they have been very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this facility.
Feb 24, 2025 · Frances ColstonWe had to bring our cat in for a urinary blockage procedure- the staff and veterinarians were all so wonderful! Our cat Banjo had to stay at the vet for 48 hours which was hard for us emotionally, but we were in contact with the vet throughout his stay with pictures and updates about his progress! We could text a number at any time of the day or night and would receive an update quickly. We were allowed to visit him as well, and every time we did we had a great experience. Banjo was truly taken care of so well and we are so thankful.
