Nice people. Initial service and experience was good. Returned for a simple follow up. Was there 15min, they took my dog’s weight, asked a few follow up questions, and then charged $160. I will recommend finding a more affordable office to my clients at the local Home Shows and any friends or family. Feel like I got robbed.

Welcome to Animal Dermatology Clinic

Animal Dermatology Clinic, situated at 15800 SW Upper Boones Ferry Rd #120 in Lake Oswego, OR 97035, operates within the "Hospital" category, indicating its role in providing specialized veterinary medical services. This clinic focuses specifically on dermatological conditions affecting animals.

Customer reviews present a somewhat mixed perspective on the services provided. One reviewer described a positive initial experience but expressed strong dissatisfaction with the cost of a brief follow-up appointment, stating they felt "robbed" after being charged $160 for a 15-minute visit that included weighing their dog and answering a few questions. This reviewer indicated they would advise their clients and acquaintances to seek more affordable options.

Conversely, other reviews highlight positive experiences with the clinic, particularly mentioning Dr. Plant and the staff. One pet owner felt "very lucky" to have found the clinic (referred to as Skinvet in their review, which appears to be the same entity or a related name) for their rescue dog's chronic ear infections. They described Dr. Plant and the entire staff as "kind and professional" and a "pleasure to work with."

Another reviewer emphasized the clinic's efficiency in providing timely appointments and, more importantly, the superior and more thorough care their pet, Ruger, received compared to a previous specialist. Despite the clinic being farther from their home, the reviewer found the extra travel time "well worth" it and expressed increased hope for Ruger's continued improvement. A follow-up comment from this reviewer confirmed that Ruger's ear issues were resolved and remained so a year and a half later.

Based on these reviews, Animal Dermatology Clinic appears to have a knowledgeable and professional team, particularly noted in the positive experiences with Dr. Plant. They are recognized for providing effective and thorough care for dermatological issues in pets, including chronic conditions like ear infections. However, potential clients should be aware of the concern raised by one reviewer regarding the cost of follow-up services. It may be prudent to inquire about the pricing structure for consultations and follow-up appointments to ensure it aligns with expectations. I feel so very lucky to have discovered Skinvet for my new rescue dog's chronic ear infections. Dr. Plant and his entire staff are both kind and professional and are a pleasure to work with. They were able to see us quickly, and even more importantly, on many levels, the care Ruger received was far better and more thorough than our previous specialist had offered. . Even though this office is a little farther away from home, adding to an already long drive. it's been well worth the extra travel time and I am far more hopeful for Ruger's continued progress now. Followup - Ruger's ears were healed and remain so, a year and a half later!

They were super nice and social. My dog had a ton of skin issues since we rescued him. This was recommended by my sister to try them. They were great, gave me multiple options for treatment. The doctor came out to my car to talk to me in person after examining my pup and asked what treatments I wanted to proceed with and what he recommended. After my decision they had me come inside to show me the proper way to give my dog the allergy shot, which I chose to do, and made sure I was comfortable with it before I left. After my visit they emailed me with any questions I had that weren't answered at the visit and asked if I had any issues or concerns with my medication and that my dog was ok. My dog loved it here and he had fun flirting with all the ladies who worked there. Great place.

Dr. Plant and staff are awesome! Paris, our kitty, was really tired from a year full of vet visits. Skinvet was gentle helping her relax and trust again. With her improvement she has had so much energy I can't believe it. Thank you so much!
