Our first visit with the doctor and his staff was exceptional. Dr. Hewitt took all his time explaining to us thoroughly what the process was going to be to clean our little Cello’s teeth. He answered any questions that we might have About the process.

From the moment we walk in, every single employee treats my pup like she’s a beloved member of their own family. Their kindness, compassion, and expertise go above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. Medical procedures with our pets can be incredibly stressful, but this office does literally everything imaginable to make the experience as comfortable as humanly (and canine-ly!) possible. They are patient, thorough, and take the time to explain everything, ensuring both pets and pet parents feel at ease. The level of care, attention to detail, and genuine love they have for their patients is unmatched. I am beyond grateful for Dr. Hewitt and his team for taking such excellent care of my pup. Best vet specialist ever!!! They are so personal and kind here. Every single employee. Doctor Hewitt is very honest, great at communicating and is definitely an animal lover. I have gone to so many vets where they don’t even seem interested in petting or talking to the dog. The office treated my dog as if she was a real human! It was the sweetest thing ever. Highly recommend, Dr. Hewitt is very knowledgeable and so experienced with his background in treating animals.

My 11 year old Labrador had an appointment with Dr. Hewitt where we thought he needed a root canal. Upon further examination while my dog was anesthetized he discovered that was not the case and called me to let me know the good news. He also found a tooth that had pretty bad periodontal disease that needed to be removed which he did. His super friendly office kept me updated as to the progress of my dog’s procedure and went I went to pick him up Dr Hewitt went over everything very thoroughly, answering questions that I had. I had a great experience and would highly recommend Dr. Hewitt and his very caring staff.

Every single staff member I encountered was beyond pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional, which immediately put me at ease. Dr. Hewitt is truly amazing at what he does and incredibly knowledgeable in his field. He took the time to thoroughly explain the entire procedure for my 13-year-old Yorkie, answered every single one of my questions, and even went the extra mile by drawing a diagram to help me better understand. I was initially very nervous about putting my senior dog under anesthesia, but Dr. Hewitt’s expertise and reassurance made me feel completely secure. Knowing that a board-certified anesthesiologist would be monitoring her during the procedure was an added layer of comfort that made all the difference. Throughout the process, Dr. Hewitt kept me informed with updates before, during, and after the procedure. The personal touch of receiving a picture and "I'm good" message from my dog during the procedure melted my heart and gave me so much peace of mind. After the procedure, the difference in my dog was remarkable. She’s like a brand-new pup—spunky, pain-free, and even chewing again, something she hadn’t done in years. It’s clear that the care and expertise of Dr. Hewitt and his team have given her a new lease on life. I am beyond grateful for Animal Dental Specialists of Nevada.
