Animal Dental Center

We saw Dr. Sembler for our 11 year old cat Niko to have a biopsy taken of her lower right jaw that has been giving her pain. She took the time to explain everything that she was going to do as far as extracting teeth and cleaning out the gums where there was infection. She explained that it is very possible that Niko does have cancer in her jawbone but she did everything to give her relief in the meantime. I appreciate how she had an action plan and even plans for after we get biopsy results back. The entire staff was so friendly and they kept me updated with phone calls and text messages while Niko was in surgery to let me know she was ok. I would recommend the Animal Dental Center of York to anyone who needs any type of dental work for their pet. They are very knowledgable and give you answers with results.

Prior to this experience I was not conciously aware there were pet dentists. I take my cat Lady to the vet annually but somehow it was missed that she had Periodontal Disease. By the time the very capable team at ADC saw her, she had a very severe case and needed MANY teeth removed. It has been less than a month since her surgery and she's acting like her kitten self eventhough she'll be 7 next month. I'm so thrilled she's no longer in pain and the expense was worth it. Doctor T and the staff were professional, knowledgeable, and immediately put me at ease. Lady will be going here annually from now on to get those few remaining chompers cleaned!

The Doctor and Staff were super attentive to our needs as pet parents. The knowledgeable and friendly staff made you feel comfortable knowing that they are taking care of our fur babies. I would recommend Animal Dental Center in an heartbeat. Have been going to this specialty practice for 8 years, 3 of our Shelties have been seen and have had malocclusions corrected or other dental issues.

I really cannot say enough positive things about Animal Dental Center in York. The entire team there is phenomenal and goes above and beyond from start to finish. Thank you to the entire team and Dr. Tjepkema for their compassion and thorough care of my cat, Charlie, during and after his surgery. I have seen other reviews complain about the high cost of care, but I can assure you that it is absolutely worth it (and then some). It's as the adage goes--you get what you pay for!

The front desk staff were so sweet and very welcoming. Dr T did puppy’s dental work and I have no complaints. She was informative, professional and caring. I know Tess was in good hands and would recommend this office to anyone!
