Animal Clinic of the Humane Society of Sarasota County

Happy with how we were treated and how kind they are but shocked at their prices. We are low income but it makes no difference there. Don’t know why it was stated in the comments that their prices are good and especially for fixed income. We were there less than an hour there and it was $672. Then they wanted 3% extra if put on a credit card.

Humane Society of Sarasota County took amazing care of my Dalmatian puppy as she got spayed. I was put on a waitlist due to the amount of appointments they have each day and expected to have to wait months to get in. They called me within a month and was able to schedule my pup’s spay for a fraction of the cost of typical animal clinics. They did a wonderful job with the actual surgery including proper care of the surgical incision, easy drop off and pick up, and ready to go medication to bring home for her. I am extremely grateful for their service and my puppy has recovered wonderfully. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone interested in adoptions or the clinic.

They are always nice. the price is really reasonable love that place. if you looking for another pet you should go to the shelter. I adopted a dog a year ago and he is the best part of my life right now

We have used this vet since it first opened. Although with the experience we have had within this last week has we are appalled. We went in for blood work with our dog was told it will be about 15-20 minutes for the results but you can go ahead and go we will give you a call later. We never received a call even though we had told them multiple times we needed it for our dog to continue her medication. Called back the ridiculous line that doesn't let you actually talk to anyone and waited for a call back. After a few days finally got one back and they said oh sorry I have to have the doctor call you back. So again we waited two more days for the doctor to call me. He seemed to not know much of what we were talking about. He said well they already told you everything was okay. I said "nope, no one told me anything she said I could leave and you guys would call but never did". I said so we can get her medication going so I can pick it up tomorrow? He said I will put it in the notes and it should be ready. Now we are at Friday 11am should have already been done only 3 medication only 30 day supply. Walk in the receptionist can't find it so goes and asks the tech. She says ok it will be about 10-15 minutes. Took over 30 minutes she could tell we were upset and went to the backroom and was practically hiding from us until it was finished. I used to love bringing my animals here but lately it has been so bad.

Great care, reasonable prices. Friendly staff. And Zeus loves them. 😆
