I would like to take a moment to say how awesome Dr. Beth is. She has performed many surgeries for my dogs and cats, and she’s wonderful. She also cares about her patients (animals) during office hours too, when clients have concerns. Thank you for being so consistent, considerate, and great to my pets, Dr. Beth!

The services offered at a Pet Hospital like the Animal Clinic of Ava generally encompass a broad spectrum of medical care for animals. Based on the positive review mentioning Dr. Beth performing "many surgeries" for dogs and cats, it's evident that surgical services are a key offering. This could include routine surgeries such as spaying and neutering, as well as more complex procedures depending on the clinic's capabilities and the expertise of their veterinary professionals. The review also highlights Dr. Beth's attentiveness during office hours, indicating that the clinic provides consultations and addresses client concerns, suggesting general veterinary medical care is also a core service.

Features of the Animal Clinic of Ava, as suggested by the customer feedback, include having a dedicated and skilled veterinarian like Dr. Beth. The positive testimonial praises her surgical abilities, consistency, and considerate nature towards pets and their owners. This suggests a focus on compassionate and competent care. However, it's important to also acknowledge the negative feedback, which raises concerns about diagnostic accuracy and the availability of the veterinarian. While this single negative review should be considered within the context of potentially many satisfied clients, it underscores the importance of clear communication and thorough assessment in veterinary practice.

Considering the category of "Pet Hospital," you can likely expect the Animal Clinic of Ava to offer a range of diagnostic services that are crucial for identifying and treating various health issues in pets. These might include laboratory testing (such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams), imaging techniques (like X-rays), and other specialized diagnostic tools depending on the clinic's resources. Preventative care is also a cornerstone of most pet hospitals, which would involve services like vaccinations, parasite control (flea, tick, and heartworm prevention), and routine wellness check-ups to ensure your pet stays healthy.

Furthermore, Pet Hospitals often provide dental care for pets, recognizing its importance for overall health. This can range from routine dental cleanings to more advanced dental procedures if needed. Nutritional counseling might also be available, helping pet owners make informed decisions about their animal's diet. In some cases, specialized services such as emergency care, dermatology, or ophthalmology might be offered directly or through referrals.

Based on the available information, the Animal Clinic of Ava appears to be a veterinary practice where Dr. Beth is a key figure, providing surgical and general medical care. The positive review emphasizes her skill and care, which are valuable assets for any pet hospital. However, prospective clients should also be aware of the feedback regarding a potentially missed diagnosis and the vet's availability, as mentioned in the negative review. It's always advisable for pet owners to communicate openly with their chosen veterinary clinic, ask questions, and ensure they feel comfortable with the care their pet is receiving.

Mike Peters is the best large animal vet in the area. He is honest and explains things in details. He also doesn’t do unnecessary test. So blessed to have him

I was looking to establish care somewhere closer to home as I just moved recently. $80 for a rabies shot!? This office is absurd. I was told she could not get a rabies shot unless I paid a $47 “new puppy exam” fee on top of the vaccine and office visit fee. My pup is established at another vet and has even had surgery! (Ear crop) She doesn’t need an EXAM. she needed a rabies shot period. I walked out. Needless to say I’ll be driving to my other vet 1hr and 30min away to their “vaccine clinic” 6 days a week from 12-2 and pay $16 for the shot she needs! I always wondered why there is nobody in the parking lot at this office and now I am very well aware of why! I should have known right off the bat when I was asked if my dog was “mixed” with something BY 2 DIFFERENT PEOPLE that I was at the wrong vets office! She happens to be a very high quality European Dobermann grandsired by the IDC #3 red male in the world. Mixed…🤯 I will never set foot in this office again!
