Welcome to Animal Care Hospital

Welcome to Animal Care Hospital, a "Pet Hospital" located at 1006 Old Spartanburg Rd in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Serving the local community for over 25 years, Animal Care Hospital aims to provide veterinary care for your beloved animal companions. As a long-standing presence in Hendersonville, we have cared for numerous "fur babies" and strive to address the health concerns of our patients while offering solutions to their owners.

The environment of Animal Care Hospital, based on the limited information available, can be inferred from the contrasting customer experiences. One long-term client of over 25 years speaks positively about their experiences, indicating a history of satisfactory care and a willingness of the staff to listen to concerns and work towards solutions. This suggests an environment where client communication is valued, and efforts are made to address pet health issues effectively. However, another recent review paints a different picture, describing an incident where a dog was allegedly released with an open, unwrapped wound and without medication, even in rainy conditions. This feedback raises concerns about the level of immediate post-treatment care and communication regarding a pet's condition upon discharge.

The services offered at Animal Care Hospital can be gleaned from the nature of a veterinary practice. These typically include a range of medical and surgical services aimed at maintaining and improving the health of pets. Based on the positive long-term review, it can be inferred that Animal Care Hospital offers general veterinary care, likely encompassing routine check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment for various illnesses and injuries. The mention of addressing concerns and working to solve them suggests a problem-solving approach to pet health issues. However, the negative review highlights a situation involving wound care and medication, indicating that these services are also within the scope of what the hospital handles, but the execution in that particular instance was reportedly unsatisfactory.

Features of Animal Care Hospital, while not explicitly detailed, can be inferred from the longevity of the practice and the feedback received. The fact that a client has been a customer for over 25 years suggests a degree of trust and satisfaction over an extended period, possibly indicating consistent care, a knowledgeable team, and a reliable service. This long-term relationship implies that the hospital may have built rapport with clients over the years. Conversely, the negative review points to potential shortcomings in communication, discharge procedures, and immediate post-treatment care, which could be areas needing improvement in the hospital's operational features.

The positive review mentions that the staff "always listen to any concerns I have and always work to solve them." This highlights a client-centric approach where communication and problem-solving are prioritized, at least in some instances. This feature of attentiveness to owner concerns can be a significant benefit for pet owners seeking reassurance and collaborative care for their animals. However, the negative review suggests a potential breakdown in communication or adherence to proper post-treatment protocols in at least one instance, indicating a possible inconsistency in service delivery.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Animal Care Hospital based on the provided data. It is unknown whether they offer any special deals, discounts for new clients, senior pet programs, or wellness plans. To inquire about any potential promotions or the pricing of their services, it is recommended to contact them directly at (828) 692-7201 or +1 828-692-7201. Their staff will be able to provide you with the most up-to-date information on any current offers or the general cost of their veterinary services.

In conclusion, Animal Care Hospital in Hendersonville, NC, has been serving the community as a "Pet Hospital" for over 25 years. While one long-term client expresses consistent satisfaction with the care provided and the staff's attentiveness to concerns, a more recent review details a significant negative experience regarding post-treatment care and discharge procedures. This contrasting feedback suggests that while the hospital may have a history of positive service, potential inconsistencies may exist. Prospective clients should consider both perspectives when making their decision. It is advisable to contact Animal Care Hospital directly to inquire about their services, protocols, and any current promotions, as well as to ask any specific questions or express any concerns based on the available feedback. Visiting the facility, if possible, might also provide further insight into their environment and practices to help you determine if Animal Care Hospital is the right choice for your pet's veterinary needs.

1st visit. Mostly satisfied but had to remind the vet to check the cat's teeth which were found to have a lot of tartar. Doctor Stevenson said to stop using any canned cat food and that the dry cat food would clean the cat's teeth better. My little kitty weighed in at 18 lbs but has lost 1 pound since I adopted him. I didn't think about it until I left but I didn't see the ears checked. Shouldn't have to ask for ears and teeth to be checked. The staff is marvelous and carried my cat and carrier back out to the car for me. This will be my kitty's vet from now on. The receipt from the Animal Care Clinic is dated 1-5-18. Dr. Scott Stevenson DVM was listed as the veterinarian on the receipt. However, according to a reply from the owner, Dr. Stevenson has never worked at this clinic. His name is still on their billboard but has been painted over.

I have been a client for 15+ years at this place, unfortunately, front desk staff have been rude and unwelcoming for the last couple of visits. Dr. Carman has been excellent taking care of my pets needs and she is very professional. Sad thing is that when you interact primarily with staff that makes you feel like a burden, it doesn't matter how good the Vet is. I had to look for another local clinic that shows respect and shows appreciation for my animals and my family.

I’ve been coming to Animal Care Clinic with family pets since I was a kid. I bring my own dog now and she’s very nervous about being at the vet. I really appreciate that Dr. Carman takes the time to actually sit with her and make her feel more comfortable. It’s clear that she really cares about her patients. The staff are is so friendly and professional and I know we’re in good hands there.
