Animal care center is AMAZING! Our dog has been a patient there for over a decade and they take excellent care of him. Recently our cat had a procedure and the staff explained his discharge instructions thoroughly. The front desk team is great (the Lauras) and everyone is very friendly. Even when they’re busy they acknowledge you and make it known that you are important. Would highly recommend!

All the Vets, Vet techs and staff are so nice and work very hard to take care of your pets and educate you about any issues your pets may have. I had a Pug, Nay Nay, get very sick seemily overnight, went blind and got so many allergies and skin conditions that she lost all her hair and smelled terrible. It took a year to find the right combination of medicine and food but and the whole staff was with me all the way. She got back to being her beautiful self and I got to spend 10 more years with her. It was such a gift. They are so kind and caring when it's time for your fur babies to pass on. They have been my vet for 18+ years and I have never left disappointed in their service and always felt confident about how to best care for my 6 dogs. There is no better place in New Bern to take your fur babies.

Always a professional staff to greet you. The Dr and Tech work hard to get you in and out quickly while giving your pet all the loving it needs to feel as safe as it can. We always feel like family when we take our girls there for anything

I brought my cat here in 2021 during what was still considered covid times. It’s taken me years to get over the traumatizing events that happened that day. I knew she was sick because she stopped eating and drinking, but when I brought her there I wasn’t allowed back with her. She died while under the care of the vets and was returned to me in a black trash bag outside. No final moments with her. My fear held me back from opening the trash bag because I was so shocked at how fast and overwhelming it all was. I took her sweet body to get cremated in James City where they were the ones who offered me support and sympathy after the death of my cat. I just can’t believe this place is still in business. I was still charged for the visit that day which is understandable but the lack of care my cat and I were shown won’t ever be forgiven.
