Animal Care Center of Buffalo Grove

Since getting our new puppy… Animal Care Center of BG was highly recommend by the breeders. We were hesitant as we have a vet already but decided to go. They are so friendly and knowledgeable! I didn’t feel rushed at all. I have been there twice now and they spend the time getting to know you and your pup. Sammie the vet tech was amazing!!! She knew all about everything I fought up and then Dr. Hughes came in and continued excellent care! Can’t wait to continue our care here! 🩷

Professional and Great with both my dogs Chase & Taco. Just got my puppy neutered and Sam was amazing in office and as a contact after the fact. Love these guys, the only place I trust since I moved to this area. Thank you, see you soon ADDED RE-EDIT: 08/20/2024 I just finished getting my puppy neutered. Sam & Julieta were outstanding as usual, but they really went Out of their way to make sure that they contact me and gave you all the necessary information.Until chase was fully up-to-date.They really went above and beyond and didn't have to go this far , but they did. It's very hard to find a fact that cares about your animal as much as you do & Animal Care Center does both exceptionally. They made sure that I not only had all the correct and necessary information & meds for his procedure, as well as maintaining contact with me, until chase was at 100%. You guys are the absolute best, see you soon.... thanks again SIDE NOTE: They're ON STAFF GROOMER, has become my new GROOMER as well. Chase & Taco CAN'T WAIT TO GOTO THE VET, you guys are incredible. Quite a contrast to the vet office where I had taken all my dogs for decades. Clean modern building w/vet services and grooming. Efficient app for appt booking, notifications. Friendly, helpful people but, for me, it's a long drive to get there. If close to you, I would not hesitate to recommend.

My fiance and I took our 21-month-old Pomeranian to get groomed here. I'll admit last time they sheared him and his fur was stubbly, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. However, this time they did an EXCELLENT job!!! He looks great! Before the grooming, he had a mat near his ear, and some fur that needed trimming around his head and legs. When he came back, he was soft, he still had his long fur, the mat was gone, and he was trimmed. They didn't do the best job on his nails but that's not a big deal because he gets them cut somewhere else anyway. As long as you're super specific about what you want in the form they give you at drop-off (be specific as you would be about your own hair!), it works really well. He feels and looks absolutely gorgeous. I appreciate that the staff listened to my concerns from last time and did so well this time. They also said upon pickup that the groomer spent 30 minutes trying to get his mat out, and it meant so much to me that she spent time on it and didn't just shave it off or do something that might hurt him. He also does not appear to be scared when we go in. This is definitely a good place to get your dog groomed! (Can't say for cats because I don't have one, but I'm sure it works for them, too.)

They are those professionals who care about your pet, make every visit friendly, they encouraged me through rough times and made me understand my puppy was under great care. The place is extremely clean, the front desk staff is cheerful and prompt, the doctors are on time, explain things thoroughly, don’t rush through the visits. Thank you!!
