Based on the testimonials from pet owners, the Animal Cancer & Imaging Center (ACIC) is highly recommended for its expertise, compassionate care, and advanced diagnostic capabilities, particularly in the areas of animal cancer and imaging. These reviews highlight the knowledgeable doctors and the genuine desire of the team to achieve the best possible outcomes for their furry patients.
One pet owner, whose "baby" was diagnosed with cancer, expressed immense peace of mind after coming to ACIC, stating that they felt their pet was in the best hands receiving amazing care. This speaks to the level of trust and confidence that the center inspires in pet owners facing the difficult reality of pet cancer. The reviewer highly recommends ACIC to anyone dealing with such a diagnosis.
Another compelling review details a situation where a six-year-old dog, Summit, was brought to ACIC for a second opinion and a treatment plan for what was believed to be bladder cancer. Remarkably, through the expertise and advanced diagnostics at ACIC, it was discovered that Summit did not have bladder cancer. The initial positive results were found to be false positives due to an enlarged and bleeding prostate clouding the bladder. ACIC performed a BRAF test and an ultrasound, which revealed no bladder issues but identified the large prostate. Following a successful neutering procedure, Summit's prostate reduced in size, giving him and his owners "a new lease on life." The owners expressed deep gratitude for the recommendation to ACIC and the lovely care they received.
From these reviews, we can infer several key features of the Animal Cancer & Imaging Center. Firstly, they possess a high level of expertise in veterinary oncology and advanced imaging techniques, allowing for accurate diagnoses, even in complex cases where initial findings might be misleading. The successful diagnosis and treatment of Summit's condition underscore their diagnostic capabilities.
Secondly, the environment at ACIC appears to be one where both pets and their owners are treated with care and compassion. The first reviewer's feeling of peace despite their pet's cancer diagnosis suggests a supportive and reassuring atmosphere. The willingness to conduct thorough testing, as seen in Summit's case, indicates a commitment to getting to the root of the problem.
The services offered at Animal Cancer & Imaging Center likely include:
- Veterinary Oncology: Specialized care for pets diagnosed with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and various therapeutic modalities.
- Advanced Imaging: Utilizing technologies like ultrasound (as mentioned in Summit's review) and potentially others such as digital radiography, CT scans, or MRI to aid in diagnosis.
- Diagnostic Testing: Performing specific tests like the BRAF test to accurately identify or rule out conditions.
- Surgical Procedures: As evidenced by Summit's neutering surgery to address his enlarged prostate. In the context of cancer care, this would also include tumor removal and other oncological surgeries.
- Supportive Care: Providing comprehensive care to improve the quality of life for pets undergoing cancer treatment or other serious conditions.
Based on the positive outcomes shared in the reviews, a significant feature of ACIC is their knowledgeable and skilled team of doctors who are deeply invested in the well-being of their animal patients. Their ability to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans is a recurring theme.

Sep 27, 2024 · Jordan K AhoWe took our dog , Summit (6 years old) , for a 2nd opinion and to get a plan for bladder cancer. It turns out he does not have bladder cancer as the tests done previously had false positive results because he had an enlarged prostate that was bleeding and clouding the bladder. ACIC did a BRAF Test and an ultrasound that showed no bladder trouble but a large prostate. He was neutered and his prostate has shrunk to half the size. We have a new lease on life! We are so grateful for those that recommended ACIC and the lovely care we received!
Aug 23, 2024 · Renee MartinThis place was wonderful to both my dog and family. Such an amazing staff and amazing doctors. My dog was diagnosed with lymphoma stage 2, when we got the news the staff and doctors talked about all our options and answered all of our questions and gave us time to think about all the info. We decided to do the treatment and all our trips there were amazing for both dog and myself, very warm, loving, kind people who my dog loved despite the situation she was in. She was in remission after 2 chemo visits and hardly got sick. Best part is we moved away while doing chemo treatments and our dog got sick from the chemo and Animal Cancer and Imagine Center was more concerned and took the time to contact her vet and continued to stay in contact with me. They really are the best! These are pictures of aly while getting treatment and now still in remission :)

Jan 25, 2025 · Marge FreundlSuch nice and caring people. You know they love Dogs and Cats. My dog and myself were made comfortable and we understood her treatment. They also have entertaining squirrels to watch while waiting for test and results. Just a warm and caring place while going through one of life's traumas.
