We've used Animal Ambulance of So Cal twice with 2 large dogs. I've always felt terrible when their time comes having to take my senior dogs to the vet for euthanasia. Usually, they can't stand and feel awful. I found Animal Ambulance when our huge 145 pound mixed breed boy was reaching the end of his time. We cleaned up when he started having accidents, but when he couldn't get up and was laying in his mess, I knew it was time. They came out promptly and the doctor was very kind and caring. He let us take our time saying our goodbyes and once we said we were ready, he very gently sent our boy on his way. With utmost care he placed our boy on a collapsible gurney, covered him and took him to the ambulance. Yes, it costs more than taking them into the vet (the price is based on weight, just like the vet's office), but it's worth every penny to let them go peacefully at home. I can't recommend them highly enough. The experience with our second boy (125 lbs) was just as good. You're in a worst case scenario when it's time to say goodbye to your furry baby, but Animal Ambulance makes it a good as possible. I'd add that I'll use them again and again, but we moved out of state and I wish they were here! Thank you so much, Animal Ambulance

Based on heartfelt testimonials from real customers, Animal Ambulance of Southern California Inc. provides a service that prioritizes the comfort and peace of mind of both the pet and their family during the sensitive time of euthanasia. One of the primary features highlighted is the convenience and emotional benefit of at-home euthanasia, particularly for senior or ailing pets who may be unable to travel or are experiencing significant discomfort. The reviews poignantly describe the relief and gratitude of pet owners who were able to spare their large, weakened dogs the stress of a final trip to the veterinary clinic. Instead, Animal Ambulance comes directly to the pet's home, providing a familiar and loving environment for their final moments.

The environment provided by Animal Ambulance is one of utmost care and respect. The testimonials emphasize the kindness and compassion of the doctor who performs the euthanasia. They allow families the necessary time to say their goodbyes without feeling rushed, understanding the emotional weight of the situation. Following the procedure, the service includes the gentle and respectful handling of the pet's body, using a collapsible gurney and covering them with care before transporting them in the ambulance. This attention to detail and sensitivity underscores their commitment to providing a dignified and peaceful passing for the beloved animal.

The core service offered by Animal Ambulance of Southern California Inc. is at-home euthanasia for pets. This specialized service caters to pet owners who prefer a more intimate and less stressful environment for their animal's final moments compared to a traditional veterinary clinic setting. While the reviews primarily focus on this end-of-life care, the name "Animal Ambulance" suggests they may also offer transportation services for pets in other circumstances, although this is not explicitly detailed in the provided information. However, the overwhelming emphasis in the reviews is on their compassionate euthanasia service.

A key feature of Animal Ambulance is their prompt and reliable service. One customer specifically mentioned their timely arrival when their large dog was in distress. The professionalism and ease of working with the service are also highlighted in a brief but impactful review. This reliability is crucial in time-sensitive and emotionally charged situations, providing pet owners with reassurance and support when they need it most.

Regarding pricing, one review mentions that the cost is higher than taking a pet to a traditional vet clinic for euthanasia, with the price being based on weight, similar to veterinary office charges. However, the reviewer unequivocally states that the added cost is "worth every penny" for the peace and comfort it provides to both the pet and the family. This suggests that while it may be a premium service, the value derived from the convenience, reduced stress for the pet, and emotional support for the owners is significant.

While specific promotional offers are not mentioned in the provided reviews, the strong positive testimonials and the emphasis on the compassionate and professional nature of their service serve as powerful endorsements. The willingness of a former client who moved out of state to highly recommend their services speaks volumes about the lasting positive impact of Animal Ambulance during a very difficult time. This word-of-mouth recommendation is invaluable and highlights the unique value proposition of their specialized service.

In conclusion, Animal Ambulance of Southern California Inc. offers a vital and compassionate service within the Pet Hospital category, specializing in at-home euthanasia for pets. Their key features include providing a peaceful and stress-free environment for the pet's final moments, offering convenience and emotional comfort to pet owners, and ensuring a dignified and respectful process. While it may involve a higher cost than in-clinic euthanasia, the overwhelming positive feedback from clients underscores the immeasurable value of allowing beloved pets to pass away peacefully at home, surrounded by love and familiarity. For pet owners in Southern California facing this difficult decision, Animal Ambulance offers a humane and highly recommended option.

Animal Ambulance helps the clients and their pets at the emergency pet clinic where I work. They are always available to help transport our critical patients to their family veterinarian for continued care, especially those that need oxygen during transport. They are professional and licensed. Highly recommend!

I called to advise that my 17 year old cat having had not eaten nor drank water for 4 days. I called about euthanasia they were not quick to take advantage of this situation to make money they brought out why didn't I try to feed the cat tuna and see if he would eat that and go from there. First two days barely ate the tuna but thereafter has been eating and drinking water. It has been 12 days and my cat is doing well. Eating and playing. I am so grateful to Andy who was the one I spoke with and to the company that no doubt promotes this kindness. With all my heart, thank you. ❤️

We recently used this service for at-home euthanasia for our 15 year old Jack Russell. The vet was very kind, patient, professional and compassionate and made a very difficult time a little less difficult. I will refer them to all of my friends and family who have to go through this very difficult experience.
