Anasazi Animal Clinic

This clinic has provided our 5 household pet members great care (3 dogs and 2 cats). Recently, one of our dogs had to have surgery. During this difficult time for our family and pet, the staff gave proper attention, answered all of our questions and concerns. Overall, the clinics patient care is genuine and every experience I have is the same, which has always been in the best interest of our pets' health. I have always been explained the reason for procedures and their costs and never walked away with the feeling of being overcharged or not understanding what my pet needed and why. I trust the advice of all the veterinarians and know if I have questions they will answer them with wisdom, knowledge, and from a perspective as though the patient is their own pet. Thanks to all of the staff at Anasazi for the hard work they perform with absolute professionalism in customer service and patient care. Their passion to be in this chosen field shows with their dedication, patience, and most of all the love they have for the furry patients whom they serve.

My initial experience with Anasazi animal clinic was very good - Right up until one of my dogs had an issue with his hind leg. Here's where the train came off the tracks: After an initial exam, Anasazi explained that they needed to do an X-Ray. It made perfect sense until they said "let us give you an estimate", (for an X-Ray?) as if I were at a car dealership and from there, the only thing I was unsure about was whether or not I was going to get a loaner while my dog was down. Anasazi wanted the better part of 1000.00 dollars... yep, 1000.00 dollars for an 'X-Ray' which apparently included putting my dog out/mostly out and sending the pictures out to be interpreted because apparently, nobody on the payroll at Anasazi can read an X-Ray even with a license to practice veterinary medicine. Now at this point, we can all be upset with what we consider to be price gouging and rightly so but, that isn't the whole story. You see, even though I was primed to pay for an X-Ray, the next vet I went to didn't need to take an X-Ray to tell me what was wrong when he examined my dog. He just explained what was wrong in no uncertain terms and referred me to a surgeon for the next and only option left to us. So, if it isn't apparent yet, let me explain it like this: The doctor at Anasazi did indeed know exactly what was wrong with my dog during his initial exam and instead of correctly referring me to a surgeon for the obvious issue, I needed his absurdly overpriced and entirely unnecessary X-Ray. By the way, had I paid for an X-Ray at the other vet, it was going to be less than HALF the price but again, the X-Ray was *u.n.n.e.c.e.s.s.a.r.y* For anyone with half a brain, the whole thing was easy enough to avoid but, it irks me to no end that they actually tried to normalize what may have constituted fraud, (or close enough to it) as if it were somehow a service to me to see my trusted vet, shell out the better part of 1000.00 dollars and get not a single solitary iota of value or benefit to my pet in terms of healthcare. Healthcare is expensive and I don't have an issue with paying for something that constitutes a value or benefit - Just remember two things: 1. Don't price gouge me. 2. Don't flimflam me. Understand that again, the issue was(is) blatantly obvious and that the surgeon is going to do his own X-Rays both before and after the surgery and Anasazi didn't think twice about trying to fleece what could have been a very loyal and happy customer. Merry Christmas all and be careful about where you take your pets for care.

I have always had an incredible experience with ALL staff members at Anasazi Animal Clinic. I don't know the best way to thank the staff but THANK YOU. A few months ago we had to put down our dear sweet Lily pup. The care from the staff was amazing. They were so kind. I was so grateful to receive the paw print in clay A month or so later, the sweetest card was sent signed by all the staff. It really touched my heart. Then a month after that, we received a note saying a donation was made in honor of Lily. I thought these were so thoughtful and I'm so so grateful. Thank you all.

Staff were all friendly and caring. The vet spent plenty of time with us and was very thorough.

Was recommended this place by the breeder that I got my puppy from and they have been amazing! They even called me to come in sooner when they had a cancellation and then texted me the day following the appointment to make sure my pup was doing ok! Quick, in and out, very personable, and fair prices. I will be continuing to use them for all my pets.
