I took my female shepherd mix here for her first wellness check and overall first time at the vet. This is my (and my family's) first dog, so we were just as nervous about going as our dog was. She was very nervous and whining in the waiting room, but the receptionist was respectful and understanding , especially when she noticed our dog being very scared and barking at other dogs that she made sure our dog was behind the desk when another dog had to pass through. During her examination, Dr. Dave and Carlie were very patient and calm with our clearly nervous dog. Dr. Dave read our dog's behavior and adjusted to her best he could. Both Dr. Dave and Carlie did a great job explaining things to us and making sure that our dog was well taken care of. Our dog behaved better than expected, which was partly due to the great staff at the hospital. Thank you!

The staff and the doctors did a good job taking care of our dog even at his last breath. Dr Dave, Dr Paul & Dr Gill are wonderful doctors who cares for pets. They are very honest and don’t take advantage of their clients.

American Animal Hospital really helped me though a sad and huge decision. My cat of 14 years, Sienna, lost 3 pounds and the exam that they recommended helped make a really sad decision of euthanizing her determining that she had cancer after several tests. She was my best friend of 14 years and I appreciate this hospital and will use them for any future pets. They sent me a sympathy card as well.

This is my primary vet clinic for over the 3 years! This is a family owned and Professional vet. Doctors treat my babies just right and the costs are reasonable! The staffs are friendly too! Recommended!

Tina, my 10 yr. old cat got very sick after having 5 teeth pulled. Dr. Paul and his caring staff pulled her through a rough 2 weeks including 4 visits (one of which he sent vet tech Debbie to pick Tina up so she could be monitored and medicated for the day. I am 92 and disabled so it is difficult for me to get her to the Vet.) Now, Tina is asking for food and lap time again.
