This indicates a clinic that goes the extra mile to ensure a positive experience for animals receiving care.
The services offered at Alternative Veterinary Therapies appear to blend traditional veterinary medicine with complementary therapies. Based on the reviews, these services include:
- Comprehensive veterinary care, as evidenced by the treatment plan developed for an agility dog with a shoulder injury.
- Medications and supplements, forming part of the treatment regimen for the injured dog.
- Laser therapy, a non-invasive treatment modality used in the rehabilitation process.
- Shockwave therapy, another advanced therapeutic option employed for the dog's recovery.
- Therapeutic exercises, prescribed as part of a holistic approach to healing and rehabilitation.
- Accommodating and attentive care, with the staff "incredibly accommodating" to a pet's needs and always listening attentively to owner concerns.

May 09, 2025 · Kristina LuceroI can't say enough good things about Dr. Gunderson and her staff. My agility dog Hallej suffered a shoulder injury. We were referred to Dr. G. My first impression was that the place is spotless and everyone is so friendly. Dr. G laid out the treatment options and explained everything clearly. We did a combination of treatments (medications, supplements, laser therapy, shockwave therapy and exercises) to get the best results and Hallej is now doing great!
Jan 28, 2025 · Kelly ConnI can't recommend AVT enough! My 8 year old pit mix was referred here by her vet for chronic pain. She has been receiving spinal adjustments from Dr. K for the last seven months and is a completely changed dog! She is pain-free and has a wonderful quality of life again. I am so grateful for AVT and the amazing doctors and staff who work here.
Feb 21, 2025 · Tessa WallI cannot recommend Alternative Veterinary Therapies highly enough. My beloved dog, Gertie, received acupuncture, chiropractic adjustments, and underwater treadmill therapy at this clinic, and the difference these treatments made in her life was immense. From the moment we walked through their doors, the staff made us feel like family. Their exceptional care, kindness, and genuine concern for Gertie’s well-being were evident in every interaction. It’s clear that they not only excel in their specialized fields but also in understanding the emotional needs of the pets and their owners. Gertie’s improvements were noticeable and heartwarming. She moved more comfortably, seemed happier, and could enjoy her daily activities with much less discomfort, thanks to the team’s dedicated efforts. For anyone considering alternative therapies for their pet, I wholeheartedly suggest giving Alternative Veterinary Therapies a chance. Their professional yet compassionate approach had truly made a significant difference in our lives and, most importantly, in Gertie’s quality of life.
