Called about my sick puppy and they got me an appointment for two hours later! It was an awesome experience. Dr. Cooley and staff were tremendous, I will definitely be going there from now on.

I take my dog for daycare services and they have been a blessing to my life. They are located minutes from my job and have great hours of service. I love their payment packages also. Thanks Altadena Valley Animal Clinic for taking great care of my little Bella.

My dog, Nola, has used AVAC for boarding, daycare, and veterinary services for a little over a year since we moved to the area. This place is outstanding!!! The girls at the desk are so sweet and always happy to see Nola. Dr. Cooley is an amazing vet and genuinely cares so much. Can’t say enough good things about AVAC!!!

I cannot recommend this animal clinic enough. They are phenomenal. They’ve taken such wonderful care of my two elderly cats and will go above and beyond to diagnose and come up with treatment plans. I’ve been in financial trouble this year and they’ve been so kind to allow me to make payments on my balance when I’m able to. They are up front and honest with costs and are willing to work with you to ease stress when it comes to payments. They always try to get me an appointment as soon as possible. Wonderful people. I won’t take my cats anywhere else.

Dr. Grimes and staff have been great to us and our puppies for 20 years now. My dog gets very excited to go to daycare as well.

I deposited $300 here (pre-appointment) and NEVER USED IT because my puppy had passed on before I could even make an appointment. 😞 Fast forward, I eventually got a new puppy, came in for a vet check and they told me they "lost" my $300 deposit because they have new ownership and it was a while ago! Does money go bad? Very rude and unprofessional office! I will be contacting the owner or office manager and update here. I would not recommend this clinic.. They are rude, unhelpful, and obviously incompetent. Forced me to pay even though they have $300 which I previously paid, and, because I have a "balance due of $4", because I did not have the cash with me to pay (I use cash for all transactions and was expecting to use the credit I SHOULD still have there), the rude girl at the front desk would not even allow me to take one of the 3 cans of special food for my anemic puppy!! Horrible woman. These people are obviously much more worried about $4 than a puppy's health. SHAME ON YOU!! And, obviously incompetent when it comes to bookkeeping. I will be reporting this to the BBB.
